"Clean room although ours was dated.hotel refurbishing rooms seen updated room, its fresh and beautiful decorated, pleasant helpful staff , function rooms nicely decorated. Very competitive prices . Food excellent quality and taste. Only negative for food was diet yogurt and not natural as said on menu and none in kitchen when checked."

"The Mecure is a walkable distance from the train station, and from its front doors and front rooms one can look right down a main avenue to the Esplanade and the Firth of Clyde. The staff was excellent, helpful, and friendly. Breakfast had a wide choice of buffet items. I also had supper two evenings in the hotel, and the wait staff plus food were very good. The items for vegetarians were fine, but not much was available for vegans. Because of my knee and hip surgeries, I had to ask to change rooms to have a walk-in shower. Do note, if you cannot climb into a tall-sided and narrow bathtub, you need to ask for a room with a walk-in shower. They made the change of rooms for me."

"Very nice B&B in a beautiful area. The host Nicole was very nice and helpful. The view out our window was stunning. Clean and comfortable. Town and restaurants a short drive away. Didn’t do the breakfast but it looked and smelled awesome. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again. "
