"Very welcoming staff. Wonderful spacious room. There was a welcome gift for the dog and also fudge and a coffee machine for the adults! The breakfast was fantastic with a good choice. The restaurant was excellent and service and food very good. Excellent facilities and us and our dog were made to feel very welcome"

"I would definitely recommend this hotel. My wife and I stayed in an apartment, which had a large kitchen with all the amenities you would need. It had a hob, an oven, microwave and fridge, plus a toaster and even a caffatiere. The bedroom, living area and bathroom were a good size and really comfortablex the bar in the hotel had a great decking area with a great view over the river and down towards Teignmouth. We would definitely return,"

"I booked as a work stay over.. the location close to Exeter was spot on and the amount of parking were key to the booking. The room was Brilliant, large, comfy with great views. I managed to get a walk in the evening to explore, but i feel i need to come back to see more! Thanks again!"

"My family all had a great few days staying in this amazing house. It had everything we needed to keep everyone occupied. The pool was definitely the highlight, especially for my grandchildren We were greeted with delicious scones, cream and jam which was so kind and thoughtful. Unfortunately we had a small problem with ants but that was probably due to the wonderful weather we had and Steve, our host, immediately came and gave us ant powder which remedied it straight awayWe hope to return one day"

"Nice sizeable and comfortable room. Unfortunately it was quite hot due to it being on the second floor and after a string of hotter than usual days, not helped by the fact that the heated towel rail (from the hot water system) couldn't be shut off. But a great old pub to stay in all the same. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant."
