Check in early Friday morning and check out late Sunday afternoon for three whole days of skiing for the price of just two nights.

Our bright and spacious Locke Mountain townhouse at Sunday River will accommodate your entire family in luxurious comfort by night, while its slope-side location—the absolute best in all of Sunday River—puts you just steps from the Tempest trail/lift and the White Cap area, offering easy access to the great skiing across the eight peaks of Sunday River by day. Ski-in/ski-out right from the back door.

This sunny, warm, three-level townhouse, located a third of the way up Locke Mountain, offers incredible panoramic views of the Mahoosuc Mountain Range from every level. Plus, because you're positioned high up on the mountain, you can skip taking the chairlift from the base in the morning and ski across to White Heat to catch the first chair just as the mountain opens. There's nothing like being the first one down White Heat, laying down first tracks on fresh snow or freshly groomed corduroy. Some mornings, you can get 3 or 4 runs in before the crowds arrive.

You enter on the second level, which opens up into a sunny living area with leather couches and a cozy fireplace. On this level, you'll also find the dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Additionally, there's a comfortable TV viewing area featuring a 50" plasma TV with full cable access and broadband Wi-Fi.

The top level consists of the master bedroom, which has a private bath and stunning views. Two other bedrooms on this level share a full bath. All three rooms are furnished with queen beds.

The first level is a wide-open, comfortable space with three sets of bunk beds, an entertainment area with a TV, couch, and chair. There's also a full bathroom, and adjacent to this is a storage room with a washer and dryer.

For your relaxation, the complex offers a private heated outdoor saline pool, hot tub, sauna, changing rooms, and a spacious lounge/clubhouse with a fireplace/stove, 80-inch LCD TV, and a foosball table. The pool complex is just steps away from the townhouse.

**Note:** My girls and I have skied here since they were as young as 2. They're older now and have many competing activities, so we don't use the house much anymore.

Locke Mountain offers spacious tri-level townhomes and fantastic slope-side access, bordered by the Wildfire, Road Runner, and Tempest trails, with the Tempest lift running adjacent. Locke Mountain is where the first runs on the mountain were cut. Ski access to Whitecap leads to White Heat, the most challenging terrain at the resort.
