The home was designed with the comfort of our guests in mind. Sleep on Tempurpedic mattresses with Brooklinen sheets. Kick your feet up on the plush sofa while streaming your favorite shows on the smart TV.

The kitchen offers brand new appliances and is stocked with a Keurig with K-Cups and an assortment of teas.

The patio separates the main house from the second bedroom, which is in a separate building that used to be an artist’s studio, providing ultimate privacy and a unique hideaway for guests.

Great stay!

This was the perfect weekend getaway. Sam and Savannah were very responsive and helpful throughout the whole trip! The home was in a perfect location in walking distance to everything we wanted to check out (Thames, Broadway, Museums). Will definitely stay there again when we come back in the summer!

Ideal location

This is ideally located in the heart of Newport. The house was spotless with very comfortable beds, beautiful updates throughout. Our hosts were very responsive. Would stay here again.

Spring St is the Right St

Perfect for the occasion

Four of us were attending a wedding in Newport and needed a place to stay for the weekend. The location was perfect, right in the center of town. It is a nice alternative to staying in an overpriced hotel. The hosts were very nice and responsive. We’d stay here again.

Great location, great setup

The location couldn't be better, a block from Thames St and the waterfront. The setup also worked out well for us with the separate studio apartment a great space for our adult son. The unit had everything we needed for our stay, and was clean and well appointed.

Amazing location!!!

My friends and I stayed here for 3 nights to attend the Newport Folk Festival. We could not have asked for a better location! Just a short walk to the ferry and downtown. It suited our needs perfectly, and the price was right. I would definitely recommend!

A Perfect Find

We had the pleasure of staying here for two nights, and it was the perfect weekend getaway in an area with so so much to do. The place was a gem and beyond clean in an area that is centrally located near all shops, restaurants, and so much more. I was very happy with all of the accommodations and found the place to be exactly what was advertised only much much better! I look forward to revisiting this jewel of a place in Newport! I wish I found this place a lot sooner. You will be very happy you booked your stay

Prefect "hideaway" for out Weekend getaway!

Our group had the best time staying at this "hideaway" in Newport. The house was very cute and nicely decorated. It included everything we needed for our weekend getaway. Most importantly, the house was clean and the location could not have been more ideal. We would definitely be interested in renting again in the future.

Great visit in Newport!

We were in town for a fishing expo. We needed a place to stay and this fit the bill perfectly. 3 guys were fine with one on the couch. A really great spot for two couples. Parking was easy when we were there, but maybe not always. The place was clean. Access was unique but convenient. The location was really perfect for us. Thanks for a great visit. We will be back!

Great short term stay

We were looking for an overnight stay to attend a seasonal event at the Breakers in RI. We have used VRBO in the past as we prefer a simple accomodation rather than a traditional hotel experience. This stay was close to the waterfront, easy in/out & parking (street). The unit was small which was ok for us and nicely renovated and very clean. The host was responsive and friendly so all was good. We would use this scenario again.

Great location!

Such a great stay! This rental had everything we needed for our 6 day stay. The location can’t be beat. It is walking distance to everything downtown. 2 minute walk to Starbucks and a short 5 min drive to the beaches. It was really nice that the park was also close by as we traveled with two small infants so we went there for some fresh air with some picnic blankets. Will definitely be coming back in the future!

Location location location

This house is ideally located to access everything in Newport. We did not rent a car and, using the very easy and free #67 bus, we went everywhere we wanted to! This house is a quick walk to many restaurants and boutiques. We even walked to the cliff walk. The house is clean and had everything we needed. I would recommend this house to anyone going to Newport!

Great spot!

We stayed here for 2 nights while exploring Newport. The location is amazing. We were able to walk to many restaurants and the busy Thames street & harbor area. Property is modern & seems newly renovated. Was perfect for a group of 4. Our only complaint was a weird smell in the studio, which is why I gave it 4/5 stars for cleanliness. Regardless we would stay here again!!

Unique little property

We had a wonderful stay in this unique little property. The "homes" were both clean and had very comfortable beds. With the second sleeping area in a separate building (formerly an artist studio) it was nice for our snoring family member! haha! The location is ideal. It is walking distance to the harbor, Starbucks, restaurants and shopping. The front bedroom is literally several steps to the street as seen in the picture, so bring a sound machine or earplugs if you aren't used to city traffic noise. Also, the church nearby the park has a bell that rings on the hour; although, we didn't hear it after 11 pm.. We didn't use the kitchen to cook, but appreciated the coffee and tea. The owners were very responsive and entry was easy. There was one-hour parking on the street during the day in front of the house, but a parking pass was available to use in a lot about four blocks away from the house. If you're looking for a spot close to everything, this place has everything you need.

Location, location (and parking)!

This cottage is perfectly located to downtown Newport, walkable to everything. We liked that the property had outdoor space to enjoy and that the space was fenced in for our toddler. We planned to go to block island and this place is only a 5 minute walk to the block island ferry. We didn’t need the second bedroom but it would be great if we were with another couple since it is detached from the main house because it has it’s own half bath. Keep in mind that the parking spot for this property is maybe 4 blocks away but we were able to find spots on Spring St to unload/load the luggage and park the car in a nice lot in the meantime. If you don’t overpack like we do, then the walk with a couple of overnight bags is fine. Parking on spring street is limited to an hour for most of the time so the parking spot is a great bonus. The host was quick to respond any questions or concerns and was very helpful. We enjoyed a night in cooking local seafood from Anthony’s in Middletown.
