This property is perfection from start to finish,the extremely friendly staff,the well decorated rooms,the outside well manicured property,directly on The Atlantic Ocean.

We have stayed at a lot of properties in Newport, but I would rate the chandlers staff as by far the best. We chose to stay on property most of the time and enjoyed getting to know Ray, Paige, Kevin, Julia, our waiter from both nights and the night lady who took over from Paige. They all went out of their way to make us comfortable and took great care of us during our time.

loved the location and view the courtyard needed some minor upkeep, some chipping paint and mold overall lovely spot Please note that the hot tub temp was too hot at 104 degrees, much more comfortable and safe when we decreased it to 100 Staff was wonderful and very accomodating.

The Chanler was one of THE nicest places we have ever stayed. The staff certainly was THE nicest staff with whom we have ever stayed. A gorgeous property overall, a spectacular but warm and charming room, a staff that couldn't do enough for us. Christina was superb. From carrying our luggage up two flights of stairs, to bringing us blankets at the firepit, They anticipated our every need and helped us in every way possible to enjoy ourselves.

This hotel is expensive,but it exceeded my expectations….they do everything just right.The added little touches made the entire experience so much more enjoyable.The complimentary car service is greatly appreciated.The staff are beyond courteous,helpful,and a joy to interact with.The rooms are well appointed and housekeeping was exceptional.Turn down service at night with complimentary sweets was a nice touch.Once you experience this hotel,it will be hard not to want to always return here,when visiting Newport.

The property is lovely and in a great setting. While the service was attentive they could have been far more helpful. My wife is immuno-compromised and we asked if we could eat outdoors and were told no despite the inn having tables with heaters 10 feet outside their enclosed back porch. We then asked for help finding outdoor dining in Newport and were told restaurants don't accept reservations for that in Newport. We then went online and found that not to be true and booked something and when we out to dinner found a dozen restaurants in Newport serving outdoors. It's a small inn with a modest number of guests. The small points of of service were high; actual helpfulness not so much.

Charming property, brilliantly situated at the beginning of the famous Cliff Walk. The unique decor of our room (Mediterranean) added to the ambiance, and the dining room and bar area were comfortable and romantic. Menus were varied and delectable and the service was impeccable.
