The property is getting a totally new makeover, so the owner apologized for the inconvenience while worker's are doing a great job to make the place look brand new inside and outside. I would recommend this place to everyone who's planning to stay in Newport young and old....thanks for a great stay.

I didn't like the upstairs room the stairs were scary and I'm handicapped however otherwise it was good like always.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this place! The front desk worker was extremely friendly and accommodating. Despite its outward appearance, this hotel is a true diamond in the rough. Clean and beautiful rooms that are an absolute steal compared to whats around. If im ever in the area again, i will be here. Never judge a book by its cover!

Wasn’t sure what I had gotten my self into when I first pulled up. Check in staff was very nice and kind. Check in was fast. The outside of the building looks like a huge dump. Once in the room it was so nice. The room had been completely remodeled. I was very impressed with what the rooms looked like. So many USB ports to charge things.

Building is a work in progress but the room was excellent. Very recent renovations. Pretty amazing stay for the money. And we took a walk to the beach through a couple of charming quirky neighborhoods. Recommended!
