This 1500 sq house with a first floor open living two bathroom house is centrally located in Downtown Newport. The property is steps off Thames St. in the thriving downtown/waterfront area where its lined on each side with countless bars, restaurants, shops and historic homes.
The downstairs is an open-concept kitchen/dining room/living room /sun room. Downstairs has multiple seating areas for entertaining or to chill out it also has a full bathroom and Laundry room/mudroom. Upstairs has one full bathroom and bedrooms each with good size closets and flat screen TV's in each bedroom. Bedrooms have a queen bed in each room and one bedroom has a twin and a full bed. The house is ideal for families, couples or groups looking for a in town location that you can park your cars and be a walking distance to all downtown Newport has to offer. Easton Beach (1st Beach) & the Cliff Walk are also a walking distance approx. 20-25 mins. (Driving 6 mins.), Sachuest Beach (2nd Beach) (Driving 12 mins) & the Mansions on Bellevue Ave are approx. 15 - 20 mins walking distance depending on which one you want to visit (Driving 5 mins). Water Shuttle can be accessed walking distance 8 mins. from the house which offers a hop on - hop off service and you can explore the harbor and visit some of the amazing sights such as Fort Adam. Golf Course (Newport National Golf Club) is about 7 miles always (Driving 16 mins). The house comes with all the amenities, WIFI, cable TV, a fully equipped kitchen, central A/C and off street parking for 4 cars. Minimum of 3 night stay during the month of July & August. 2 Night minimum stay during the other months.

Highly recommend this home. Furnishings were coastal and cute. Plenty of space to rest and relax after a long day of exploring. Absolutely great location to everything! Private parking spaces are invaluable. Clean and inviting.

Great location as others have stated. We spent our whole trip walking to shops, restaurants, and even the cliff walk and mansions. The place was spacious enough, clean and well appointed. Having off the street parking was great. The window blinds allow light, but keep privacy. Small recommendations…bring a portable fan if you like a fan while sleeping. There were none in the house, nor ceiling fans. AC works very well, but I like air movement and didn’t want the windows open and get too warm. Bring hangers if needed. There were only about three wired ones in the entire home. Those are just minor suggestions. It was a great home, perfect for my family of 4 and could have held more. Clean linens, towels and bathrooms. I highly recommend and we very much enjoyed our stay. Thank you to the owner and management.

Great for exploring Newport

Our family really enjoyed our stay in this lovely renovated property. We could walk everywhere but it was also very easy to take the car out since the property includes parking. It was a nice touch to have linens & towels provided and there were even travel-sized amenities in the bathrooms. We experienced an unfortunate snafu at check-in but the owner & property manager were both responsive and got it resolved as quickly as they could. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

Great house and Great location.

The house was immaculate, very spacious and in a great location to all the shops and dining. It accommodated six adults very comfortably. The house had all the amenities you would need. Our only issue during the stay was at times the upstairs felt a tad warm. Although the central air worked fabulous on first floor, it wasn’t as cool on 2nd floor. I would suggest bringing a fan for those who are more sensitive to the heat, as my group is. (However, one person in our group was always cold, so it’s definitely an individual preference) The appliances, furniture, beds, decor are all as shown in the pictures, very lovely. The TV’s in each bedrooms were a bonus If you are looking for a house to enjoy downtown Newport and not wanting to deal with driving, this house is the perfect spot. We walked to dinner every nite and enjoyed all the downtown fun. Highly recommend this house.

Perfect spot for a family vacation in Newport

We spent a long weekend at the home and absolutely loved it. Multiple restaurants, waterfront, and parks all within a short walk (a walk that my 4 year olds had no problem with). Even though bars and restaurants were close, the home was quiet and comfortable. Off street parking for multiple cars. We will definitely be back in the future!

I brought my 80 year old parents to Newport to tour the mansions and see the town. The location was fantastic! Only 2-3 houses down from Thames Street! The place was comfortable and exactly as pictured. Very easy to access the house and the parking was perfect. Would definitely stay here again!

This is a perfect location for Newport, walkable to everything and a short drive or bike ride to the beach. I do wish there was outdoor furniture to enjoy the salty air.

wonderful quiet area but close to the action

Very nice place to stay for a Newport weekend. John was very responsive and helpful. My only reason for 4 stars on "Accuracy of listing" is that it says the place has a Spa. It does not. I did confirm this before arrival but the listing needs to be edited to have that removed.
