Three beaches and downtown Newport are within two miles. Eastons {1st} beach is a five minute walk .
The cottage is bright and clean with new bathroom, carpet, flooring, paint and lighting. Off street parking with private entrance .Fully supplied galley kitchen with Keurig coffee + tea. Basic cable and internet / WIFI,A/C. Private outside area for grilling, relaxing and watching the sunsets.

Newport Folk sanctuary!

We really enjoyed our stay in Middletown during the folk festival. The apartment was clean and fit our needs perfectly. We had a little bit of a snag with check-in, but Brad was super responsive and helpful. Would definitely recommend.

Fun stay in Newport!

My husband and I had a lovely time staying at Brad’s cottage. The location was great and it was very convenient to have a parking spot. The cottage was clean and well maintained!

Great stay!

We had a great time! The place was perfect for our small family and the location was fantastic. Everything was clean and ready for us when we arrived, they even provided a baby gate for the steep stairs which we appreciated with a two year old. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again!

This apartment was located in the middle of everything we wanted to do. Although it is on the smaller side it was clean and had everything we needed for our stay. Definitely would stay here again.

Apartment was cute and well stocked with everything we needed. Fresh flowers, drinks, and chocolates were a nice added touch. Able to easily walk to Easton’s Beach and local shops/restaurants. Loved Rejects Beer Company and Clementine’s Ice Cream.

Exactly what we needed!

My husband and I stayed here for a last minute trip. It was perfect. Cozy and a short drive to Thames street. Would stay here again in a heartbeat. We didn’t go to the beach as it was rainy but it was a short walk away.

Great Spot - Close to Everything!

Great place to stay! Brad was very quick to answer our messages. Location is walkable to the beach, and is a quick drive into the downtime/waterfront area. Only thing to note - you can hear cars and traffic from about 10pm on and then starting around 6am. Besides that - this is a great spot!

Magic in Middletown

Great apartment in perfect location! I was in town for boat show. This place is located within a short drive or long walk (1/2 hr) to downtown Newport. Best value in such close proximity to everything.

Great location, cozy, comfy and cute!

We enjoyed our weekend stay, the apartment was just as listed with some nice added touches of fresh flowers, and treats left by the Owner. Perfect location, we loved the convenience in getting to the wedding venue and enjoying a run along the ocean and Cliff-walk the next day. Check-in and out was simple and Owner was available if needed. Everything was great so we didn't have any reason to but nice to know they were there!

Love this apartment

This was my second time staying here (the first was six years ago.) This rental is perfect for a couple staying in the Newport area. Location to beaches and Newport can't be beat, and everything you need for your stay is there. Full kitchen, nice living room, bedroom, and even a small office space. There are a few restaurants less than a 10 minute walk from the property. Also, I used the most comfortable bath towel I think I've ever felt. 10/10, would stay again.

This was one of the best properties I have ever stayed at. The location itself was wonderful. Close to Easton Beach, a few different food joints, and a gas station. We didn’t have a car, but it was an easy Lyft/Uber to Downtown Newport. The property was great and had everything you needed for a stay. It was very well stocked and the host welcomed us with a bottle of wine and some chocolates which really set a tone for our stay. In addition, the host was very accommodating and responsive. We would definitely stay here again and the property was part of the reason why our vacation was so wonderful!

Second stay in Newport

This was our second stay at Brad's and it was just as great as the first time. The property is nice, clean and cute and has everything we needed from boogie boards and a cooler, to utensils and extra blankets. The property is located within walking distance to a number of great restaurants and bars and bikeable to Easton's beach. Newport is only a few minutes drive, and it was cheap to uber if we didn't want to mess with parking on a holiday weekend. Absolutely great house and perfect location and one we'll probably stay at again next year!

Very convenient to wedding venue & close to where family stayed. After hitting my head on low ceiling & noise from the 2 busy main streets it is on, I slept in living room on futon. Used ear plugs & kept fan on to dull the traffic noise. I appreciate the extras the host provided to make stay as pleasant as possible

Next best thing to Newport, but less expensive

This was the perfect solution to be so close to Newport and the beach community of Middletown and everything we needed in Rhode Island. The apartment is walking distance to beach and restaurants, easy drives to Newport and the anywhere in the state, and very comfortable. We had lots of room, the bed was wonderful, the amenities all that we needed. The only caution I would give anyone with movement frailties is the entrance has steep stairs. And there are few windows. But for us, it was perfect and cozy and a great place to return to at the end of our busy days.
