This is a great location in Newport. Lots to do in walking distance. Indoor/outdoor pool year round. Great for families. We went during Restaurant week so that was a bonus!

This property had a beautiful view, conveniently located and walkable, with easy parking. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance, and who wouldn't want to walk around the wharf? Friendly, helpful locals wherever we went. We will definitely be back.

Bachelorette weekend

We rented 2 suites for a 3 night bachelorette, the rooms were perfect and had great amenities, the front desk staff were amazing and so accommodating! Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend!

The reason we come back is the VIEW from our room! I live in land locked Missouri so it is SO wonderful. Your staff is terrific. We were in 556 - the bathroom fan did not function - only thing that needs fixing, We will be back!

Our condo faced the harbor....fabulous! So relaxing watching the boats come in and out. The birds and ducks, just wonderful. We will keep abreast on availability to stay there again. I have 3 friends that want to come with us the next time we go! I hope we can find 3 condos!!!

Confusing check in process. Pool is great but the stones around the pool hurt your feet so bring sandals! Super walkable! Boat cruise and gear food close by!

The room was a bit too worn. The windows— the only ones- didn’t open very wide and one window didn’t open at all. Also the vanity mirror in the bathroom was broken. But the view was lovely.

Everything was perfect except the air in the room was off upon arrival. It was sub 30 degrees outside and the room was barely 60 degrees. Took awhile to warm up to a comfortable level. Very minor detail but worth pointing out.

I would definitely stay here again. The reception staff were excellent! 2 things that prompted the rating. One was TV limited channels. Hooking up to streaming was a bit of a challenge. Since I have a bad back I specifically chose this hotel for the hot tubs d indoor pool. Facilities were being renovated so we were unable to use. I understand Reno is needed but it should have been stated on website. Were rates adjusted based on limited facilities?

Each of the staff members we dealt with or encountered were so very nice, the gentleman at the desk when we checked in, the employee just coming into work running to catch up to me in the parking lot to open the door for me, the woman at the desk when I needed to ask a question about parking my husband’s truck, the two staff members who replied to my text messages asking about the ice machine and requesting ice to be brought up, and the cleaning woman who greeted me in the morning when we saw each other in the hall. I came to Newport for the third year for the RI AA Convention which is held at the Newport Marriot every February and they have a block of rooms at a discounted rate which I used the previous two years. My husband and I tried Club Wyndham on Long Wharf on a whim this year after finding and booking it on Expedia. We LOVED staying there! The key feature that got us was the kitchenette as I have dietary restrictions so bring my own food. We decided we are going to stay here from now on for my future conventions. The view was breathtaking, right on the water! The staff as I mentioned was wonderful. The property was well maintained and the room was clean, cozy, convenient and the price was reasonable. Next year we may even come a day early so we can enjoy some time in the pools!
