The Wyndham Newport Onshore Resort is in the heart of Newport on Thames St. Dozens of wonderful, eclectic restaurants are within walking distance. The resort is very close to the Newport mansions and Cliff Walk. This location is ideal and the resort is very family-friendly with great amenities. Experience the sailing capital of the world for yourself while enjoying all the comforts of home at this fabulous resort.

The resort features an indoor heated swimming pool, an outdoor swimming pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, a fitness center, sauna, a picnic/BBQ area, a game room and a 'Get Out and Play' Activities Program.

Units feature a master bedroom with a king bed, a guest bedroom with two twins beds, a queen sleeper sofa in the living room, whirlpool tub, a fully-equipped full kitchen, a fireplace, a balcony/deck area, a washer/dryer in the unit, cable TV, a DVD player and free WiFi.

Perfect location for exploring Newport

The location on the water is ideal for exploring Newport. Enough room for the family, and love the layout, with bedrooms on opposite sides of unit to allow for privacy. Two separate outdoor seating areas also a great feature.

I can't say enough about this great find. You know it's nice when your teenagers were impressed. The views from the two balconies were fabulous and the place is really well stocked. Made all our meals there and found every cooking utensil I needed. Within walking distance of the mansions. A true gem!

Beautiful location and apartment!

The location and views were incredible and the unit was beautiful! It was amazing to be in the heart of everything and have a fully equipped apartment to come home to. Having a split floorplan was ideal for families or for multi-family guests. Each side of the apartment boasted its own private balcony with sensational views of the harbor and marina. We loved it so much we booked an extra night! Great place to escape to and we will book again!

Ideal Location

We were pleasantly surprised with this resort. The location was ideal. We didn't need our car to enjoy Newport -- walked to everything, shops restaurants, and enjoyed the deck overlooking the water from our condo. Will definitely return to stay here.
