A gorgeous property right on the beach - perfect for families
Sailors Cottage is located in arguably one of the most sought after locations in north Pembrokeshire, at the foot of Dinas Island and within 50 meters of the Pwll Gwaelod beach.
Sleeping 8, in well appointed comfortable bedrooms it’s the perfect house to gather friends and family for an unforgettable beachside holiday. Please note that the Cabin Bunk room has small beds that are best suited for children.
Downstairs in the cottage is cosy and warm, designed to bring the outside in, soft browns, blues and whites create a seaside feel. A large open plan living and dining room gives plenty of space for everyone and includes comfy sofas, a Smart TV & Xbox & cosy log burner.
The kitchen & utility room provides a great space for cooking and is well equipped so you will never be short of anything.
There is a small restaurant & pub next door too, which normally opens between 11am - 4pm Tuesday - Saturday.*
Outside there is a large private garden, with outdoor furniture and a portable BBQ.
Just minutes from the cottage is Dinas Island that provides a glorious two hour circular walk with spectacular views out to sea. You can also continue onwards on the world famous Pembrokeshire Coast Path - either towards Newport or Fishguard.
Dogs are welcome at Sailors Cottage, and all the local beaches and most local pubs & restaurants are dog friendly too.
*There is slight background noise from the catering extractor fan in Sailors Cottage front garden due to the extractor fan from the next door restaurant. It is only on when they’re open so there is no early morning or evening disturbance at all.

Beach lovers Dream!
We stay here with my in-laws, dog and kids, I got to stay the place was beautiful. The best organised, clean and fully furnished place we have stayed in!
There was a Dyson, and for me with kids and a dog, that was a dream! I usually go away with a small cleaning products, but Pat kept the place fully stocked!
The location of the property was amazing, literately a stones throw from the beach, which wasn't busy, a little gem! we defiantly will be back!

Superbly presented cottage next to a small sandy cove
The owner couldn't have made us feel any more welcome during our New Year stay at this beautiful beachside cottage.
Clearly a lot of thought and consideration has gone into this property which is very spacious and spotlessly clean.
Great stay and lovely location - we look forward to.going back again.

Sailors Cottage
Lovely, quirky and well equipped house right on the beach. Pat and Ioan had thought of everything that could possibly be needed for a comfortable stay. The wood burner warmed the cottage beautifully and made it very cosy. There was a basket of goodies when we walked in which felt extremely welcoming.

Beautiful, fully equipped cottage in stunning location
This property was all it said it was and more! The kitchen is so well equipped, it was amazing! We had an 18 month old who loved the toy boxes, they have a fireguard for the wood burner, cot, highchair etc. The bedrooms were spacious, clean and lovely and two large, comfy sofas in the lounge to snuggle up on. The location is amazing; each morning we walked down to the beach with our morning tea (takes two mins to the beach!) and there are walks to do from the property and the pub next door.
Bring slippers for the slate floor in the kitchen (it does get cold, even in summer), and a baby bath if you need one as there's no bath - although there is an excellent utility room sink that we bathed the toddler in - which he loved! :)
