Riverfront Escape: Fire Pit, private hot tub, river fun, sleeps 6

  • Linville Falls/Linville River/Newland w/private hot tub adventure begins at this one bedroom cabin, with sleeping loft. Inside, guests find a master bedroom with queen bed, a loft with two twin bed, perfect for children. The cozy living room features an electric fireplace, a smart TV, a futon for extra sleeping. With heating and air conditioning, the cabin stays comfortable no matter the season. A full bathroom with a shower/tub combo. . This quaint cabin invites guests to enjoy a peaceful retreat with all the essentials close at hand. Make your holiday one for the books with a stay at our place.

    This is a tiny house style cabin that is approximately 550 ft.². The layout is combo living room/kitchen area with a futon and smart TV. The kitchen is fully equipped with microwave, stove, oven, full size fridge and dishwasher. There is a full size bathroom with a tub/shower combo. The bedroom is a separate room with a queen size bed. The other sleeping area is a loft with two single twin beds, a great sleeping area for kids. It is a low ceiling, so please know that sleeping area has to be accesses by a ladder and is good for kids and adults that have full mobility. There is also a fold out couch in the living area that will sleep one (or two small).

    If you bring a pet, please know that when you walk them, it is very important to pick up after them immediately once they do their business. Also, this is Dogs only, no cats.

    You have access to the whole cabin, deck space with private hot tub, two parking spaces, an outdoor space with a picnic table, fire pit, and charcoal grill (firewood, and charcoal are not provided). The river is right behind the cabin and the entire riverfront space is common ground for the community and you can walk freely up and down the entire riverfront. The community also has some large open fields that you can walk in. You can swim, fish, and tube in the river. There are several spots along the river to access it.

    A 10 minute drive brings you to the entrance of the Linville Gorge wilderness, home to the breathtaking Wiseman view, also known as the Grand Canyon of North Carolina. Pop on the Blue Ridge Parkway, under 10 minutes from the cabin, for scenic overlook and numerous hiking trail trails. LinvilleFalls is only 10 minutes away with wonderful hiking trails, some taking you to the bottom of the gorge where you can explore and sit on a rock at the bottom of the magnificent falls. The beautiful Linville winery, a mile drive, offers outdoor seating and live music, or visit Linville Caverns, a short drive from the cabin. Guests of all ages will enjoy bank Creek barn, six minutes down the road with 80 acres of outdoor family, fun, including a tap room and trout fishing ponds. Be at Grandfather Mountain or Banner Elk in 30 minutes for mountain biking, skiing, snow, tubing, and ice-skating, at Sugar Mountain resort or white water rafting, ATV rentals, and the Wilderness Run Alpine Coaster adventure Park. Winter enthusiast will find Jonas Ridge snow tubing Park only 10 minutes away. Craft shops and restaurants are in close proximity.

    You might notice some interesting decor around the cabins outside area, like driftwood, or river rock, or simply cool, artful thing, etc. These don’t just randomly show up somehow, but are carefully integrated into the property and intended only for our clients to enjoy.

    If you are coming for winter activities, please leave snow equipment (skis, poles, etc)outside the cabin.

    Need more space for a larger group? There are several similar cabins in this community along the river. Check with us and we will certainly try to accommodate you.

I loved this place,it was extremely clean, the host communication was excellent responded to all our questions very quickly. Will definitely be staying again. Oh and the hor tub could not get enough. With it over looking rt at the rivers edge great view!
