"This is a convenient location when traveling with pets and has a large grassy lawn for walking pets. The building is very dated, the furnishings have had better days and the AC struggled. Replacements are in order. Locks have been updated to be tap locks which I appreciate. Staff were very polite and professional. Overall it needs updates but I would stay again. "

"We stopped in early to make our reservation. We were going to be a late arrival. They have it posted that the lobby is open until 11:00pm. We knew it would be closer to midnight. They waited for us. She had the key in her hand when we came through the front door. Our only problem was the heater. It was very warm when we checked in. We turned it down to 68. It did not cool off. We completely shut it off. The staff was great."

"We've had a bad streak with hotels recently, but I'm glad to say that the Red Roof in Vermillion broke that streak! We loved our stay! The staff were friendly and helpful, it was quiet, beds were comfortable, and everything was clean. We did not have time to have breakfast, so I can't review that. The only downside was that the pool was super cold! I will gladly stay again. "

"Loved the location and amenities. We have hunted the Hoesing properties for the last 6 years and stayed in Vermilion previously. This was a million times better. Hope to re-book for next year. Maybe we'll have to ask about getting permission to hunt the VRBO property as well. Ha!"

"This place is absolutely perfect, we had a one day job and stayed for 3. We had great conversations with the owner, the neighbors and the community. Everyone was very friendly and welcoming from the instant we stepped out of our vehicle. Thank you doesn't even scratch the surface for us we are extremely grateful!
