A SAFE amenity for a single female solo traveler. Loved the security at the late night hours. Amenities were good enough. Women’s bathroom was sometimes clogged toilets but a hot shower and safe place to do business was all I needed. Thank you for letting me check in early for a fee so I could rest. It meant the world to me.

Excellent property located in a very convenient spot in NYC, walking distance from so many hotspots and subway stations. Rooms are average but excellent for the cost! Having single person restrooms that you card key into is really nice compared to other hostels. Highly recommend

The room was clean and met my expextations for my needs. I inteacted with 3 staff members and only one of the 3 was pleasant and helpful. I arrived on a Saturday morning and checked out on Monday and the bathrooms were not cleaned during my entire stay. Overall, I would stay again due to the price and location but I will definitely bring my own bathroom cleaning supplies.

The room was small- BUT WHAT a VIEW!!! Location, Location, Location! A block off Central Park, Lincoln center for morning coffee… it’s an old YMCA - but the ambiance is charming/ just don’t forget your shower slippers. Housekeeping staff - amazing! Children’s art projects displayed in the lobby made my stay perfection!
The window may have needed cleaning/ my phone. But my memory is PERFECT!

Probably the best location and best price for a budget traveller. I felt like I was able to experience New York to its fullest potential, and was able to actually afford it! Modest room and amenities, but so accessible and close to everything (Central Park is literally outside your door). Friendly staff, clean room/bathroom, a diverse mix of guests. Would stay again.

Rooms adequate for price. Very conveniently located. Had to pay $10 membership fee. Bathrooms pretty scuzzy. Toilets overflowing. Some sinks both only one faucet worked. For one person out all day. Certainly a reasonable choice.

Staff is nice and coming back late at night I felt welcomed and safe!! I felt safe in my room as well. Giving 4 stars just since the place maybe wasn’t the most sanitary which is a given. Such as stains on sheets, bathrooms not being cleaned, and the major leak that was covered half the bathroom floor lol. I’d say again though!

The rooms are small but we didn't need much room since we were only there to sleep, change, and shower. So didn't mind sharing bathrooms with others, either. The floors could've been cleaner cuz there was hair on the floors, but other than that I would definitely stay there again if I ever go to new york again. Everything is so close by!! Central Park, Time Square, shopping and a variety of food carts to choose from!! The location is excellent, and so is the price!!

They do a great service by providing budget accommodation in NY. Staff was super helpful and responsive to my requests. Convenient location, safe area. A previous review mentioned the $10 daily fee that should have been added up front. They said they’d notified their partners so maybe an oversight by Expedia. The mini store in the pics is not there but plenty of places within a block to buy things.
