Quick trip to NYC
Great location, awesome building and apartment, could not be happier with our choice.
Very much enjoyed our stay in the two bedroom apartment! Great location, loved area bars - Jane Doe’s and Kevin’s and Megan’s on 45. One tip - bring an extension cord for hair tools, phone cords, etc. we would definitely stay here again.
Great spot in a historic building. Surprisingly large for an apartment in NYC with a great layout. Good spot for friends or a family. The building was secure and the place was very quiet. Definitely marking to stay here again!
was what was expected. we indicated we had 5 people and there were only 4 towels. notified mgmt early but didn't get them until late the next afternoon. location was great, was clean. nice spot!
Great location, nice space to visit with friends. Would be nice to have glasses and utensils in the room. The unexpected water outage, from 9pm until about 10 am the next day, was unacceptable and no one responded or provided any guidance until after the water came back on. Disappointing!
Great location! Very nice common space, but we were not able to use the couch as a sleeping space since it is so small. Also, there is an odd lack of mirrors for getting ready. I would recommend the space despite that!!
Great location. Only through reading reviews did we notice that you had to bring your own coffee. Though a coffee machine was provided. But then no cups or drink wear. Small makeup mirror, the only mirror in the bathroom did not light up. Nor was there a light in the bathroom.

We loved our stay ! It was just as described . Great location . Comfy and clean . Beds were very comfortable . Extra pillows and blankets were in the closet . . Bathroom was very small but to be expected in a New York apt . Bedrooms and living area were very big by NY standards. In the apartment there was a good sized fridge and microwave and water kettle and coffee pot. There were paper cups left for us for tea. In the basement there were mugs and dishes, etc. if you wanted to use them or if you want to cook something. We were happy with buying milk and coffee and made our drinks in our apartment. Staff at the front desk were very, very nice and very accommodating. Our apartment was on the 12th floor and the elevator took us straight to our room. Beautiful old building restored. Excellent value for the money. Four of us stayed there for four days. I highly recommend staying here and would definitely come back.

Underwhelming
First the good-great location between Grand Central and Time Square. Easy to find good restaurants, shopping and entertainment. Nice size, especially for the area. And if you want to watch tv, there are three massive tv’s. The electric fireplace is cute.
But, the building is something between a hostel and a dorm. Most of the occupants and students or twenty somethings looking for a permanent home. The furniture is old and uncomfortable. The only mirror (other than a small, broken makeup mirror by the sink) is in the hall by the front door. Several of the blinds were broken. It lacked a few basic items like Kleenex and wash clothes
The kitchenette is a fridge, Mr Coffee, electric kettle and half a roll of paper towels. No coffee or even coffee filters, cups, silverware…There is a communal kitchen in the basement along with coin-op laundry. So, unless you bring your own mug and ground coffee and filler, you won’t be having coffee in your room.
The owner responded quickly, but wasn’t proactive about check-in information.
Overall, it was a decent size in a good location but underwhelming.

Fun location, historical building
This was a great location for our group, walking distance to Grand Central and Broadway. Great alternative to a hotel room.
The elevator and hallways were too narrow for my walker unless it was collapsed, so make note if you use a mobility aid.
We struggled with communication. I asked if we could check in an hour early and did not receive a response. We did receive the main building code by check-in, but not the apartment door code. I called and messaged the host and did not get a response.
The first person to arrive in our party went to the concierge desk and they told us they could not give us the apartment door code. After proving we tried to contact both the host and Vrbo, they relented and provided the door code.
The room was great for what we needed, although there isn’t a mirror with good lighting so if you’re doing hair or makeup, make note. The desk supplied us with extra towels and toilet paper quickly. The couch bed is definitely not for a tall person, but the queen and king were nice. You can hear city noise but the apartment building is very quiet.
For check out, we received no instructions, but we found a QR code by the door that allowed us to check out.
If you want a group stay, this is a good option, as long as you can go with the flow.
This was a beautiful place to stay in a perfect spot in the city. The charm of the historic building was very nice. The views from the apartment were great as well. It is so close to many of the NYC favorites. We will definitely be back!

The location was amazing! Loved the 2 bedrooms and living area.Communication was challenging with host. Lost electricity in part of the apartment, lost hot water which turned out to be total building issue. They were fixed by the afternoon.
Wonderful location within walking distance of many great attractions! Felt safe and secure. Host was easy to communicate with and attentive to any questions. Beds are comfortable and clean. Very uncomfortable seating in main living area, particularly the couch. Air conditioning units in each bedroom kept the apartment plenty cool. Overall the location makes the apartment.
