Find your pioneering spirit in this getaway! Settler's Roost features a full kitchen and bathroom, with a gas fireplace in the living room. Just off the porch, you will find a fire pit for roasting marshmallows and star gazing, as well as a charcoal grill to make those amazing steaks we know you've been itching to make! Avenwood Cabins offers private cabin getaways in the beautiful Wayne National Forest. Our woodland escape ensures relaxation while providing modern amenities. Each cabin boasts state-of-the-art hot tubs with a view of the forest, queen-sized beds for guest comfort, air conditioning for those warmer months, WIFI and Roku-equipped televisions to keep you connected, and of course a pet-friendly environment for your fur babies!

Cozy Cabin

This place was cozy, clean, and comfortable. Check in process was very easy, and we enjoyed the sights/trails during the day and relaxed in the hot tub at night. After reading the online reviews we decided to bring an air mattress just incase, but as of 4/25/25 the mattress provided by hosts was wonderful.

Quaint Weekend Getaway

The property was well represented by it's listing. Very beautiful & private. Staff was very friendly in our limited interactions, there was a gentleman spreading salt on the icy road while I was walking our dog and he made sure to alert me to the fact that the salt was not pet friendly and to be careful with our dog's paws.The cabin itself was very quaint and cozy. The fireplace was great for both warmth and ambiance, and the dog loved laying in front of it. The hot tub was nice & clean and private. Would highly recommend for those looking for a nice getaway.

Cabin was exactly what we needed. Massaged property owners on app never heard back. I will echo what others already have, mattress needs replaced, and make sure to call number located through out the cabin to takr hot tub off sleep mode, otherwise it will not hold temperature.

Great cabin for the weekend

Was just looking for a quick weekend getaway and this cabin was the perfect destination. The hot tub was great to relax in and the cabin being pet friendly was a HUGE bonus for me.

Loved the area! Loved the cabin! Everything was clean and nice! The Christmas tree and decor was super cute. Added to the experience. Only thing I would say was wish check out time was a little later just to enjoy the morning there. But we get it. Thank you for the great time we will love to be back!

Lovely stay

Went to Hocking Hills for my husband's birthday. I love that we were able to bring our fur babies!! It was a lovely spot and very cozy. Perfect for an over night stay.
