"I did not like this property at all first when I got there the system was down so the agent was not able to really identify my registration however she didn't take it a step above and find me a room downstairs because I'm a disabled veteran and can't walk upstairs that part was good. The front lobby where I was checking in had a person sitting in the chair with no shirt on and was obese with tattoos everywhere could have been the agent's boyfriend but I felt a little bit uneasy checking in. Felt like I was in a bad neighborhood"

"This place is much nicer than the photos. It’s well appointed with lots of supplies—spices, toilet paper, even fishing rods. It’s very comfortable and the lake is beautiful. I only had one issue which is that the thermostat is locked at 75; you can temporarily lower the AC, but then it’ll bounce back to 75. This type of house is not terribly well insulated. Even in February that can be a bit too warm; I would hesitate to rent this place in the summer because of this issue. I would rather have paid more for the rental and been allowed a cooler AC. However, this was a minor issue for an otherwise great rental. "

"SJP Ranch came through for us as a last minute booking due to our previous booking cancelling on us the morning of our family event. Which worked out beautifully and even better since it was only 3 minutes away from our family event. They were so accommodating, kind and responded quickly any time we had a question or needed anything. We will definitely book with them again. Beautiful property! They will be having an open house January 11, 2026 from 1-5. Go check them out! Thank you SJP Ranch for coming through for us! Til next time! "
