Detail:
Wildwood Dome is 450 sq ft and features a king size bed, living area and fully equipped kitchenette. Your private bathroom is located a short walk away and has a shower with rainfall shower head, toilet and sink/vanity. The spacious deck is outfitted with a BBQ grill, seating, firepit and a soaking tub.

Amenities: We provide tons of extras so you can pack light. All linens/towels are provided. You will also find coffee+tea, creamer, spices, oils and condiments in the kitchen. Shampoo/conditioner/body wash are provided in the bathroom.

(An extensive list of what is provided and amenities will be sent 14 days before check in to help you pack light.)

WIFI:
We do have Wi-Fi (though no cell service) but we strongly encourage guests to disconnect during their stay at Rooted Domes. Here you will find a unique opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and just BE. Immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the surrounding forest and indulge your senses with an array of engaging activities to enhance your stay, including games, puzzles, coloring books, musical instruments, yoga mats, and much more!

Other Guests:
There is a second Dome on the property and the domes are orientated for the most privacy. The domes/guests share the parking area, the pathway to the site and access to the creek and forest. Please observe a quiet time (low music) between 9pm and 8am so everyone can enjoy the sounds of the forest! :)

Fairytale Getaway

Rooted Domes in the remote woods of Nee Plymouth was the perfect getaway to relax and forget about the daily grind. The attention to detail by the owners made for a wonderful evening. The spa tub on the deck was amazing!

This stay was beautiful. Megan thought of everything you could need and more. Everything was so peaceful and beautifully decorated. There were candles, diffusers and star projectors and even a heating pad on the mattress that made the cold nights cozy. She made this dome feel like you never wanted to leave!

My Wife and I have been super busy with work and wasn’t getting a chance to really spend time with one another. We decided last minute to book a trip and we stayed here. The Dome was new and different for us but such a good time. For only a one night stay we truly did enjoy our time and we will 100% be coming back.

My husband and I splurged for our birthdays and it was an absolute dream of a stay. We got lucky with a mid-week stay and had the place to ourselves and it felt so far away from civilization and was just the restful reset we needed. The vibe was immaculate and everything was provided for us. The breakfast add on was worth it for us, and was a nice comfort on a chilly morning. The deck was our favorite and had such a lovely view. The bed was so cozy I never wanted to leave!

Everything was perfect and well thought out. From the bed, to the swing inside, the record player, the fire pit and the outdoor bathtub, everything that you could think of was there. Amazing peaceful and restorative experience!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay at Wildwood! The dome itself was so cool and well designed. All the details were so intentional and special. The surrounding area was beautiful! After arriving at the dome we never actually left. We hiked to the nearby state park and explored there. Otherwise we just spent time on the deck listening to the birds and watching nature. I've done my share of stays at rustic cottages and this was definitely the next level above. Highly recommended!

Peaceful jewel box in the forest

What a wonderful visit! So much thought and effort has gone into this amazing space. We loved watching the sunbeams twinkle on the changing leaves and listening to the rain, while listening to music and doing a jigsaw puzzle. Megan was proactive and attentive. The kitchenette was great for our meals, and we slept well. The bathroom was very comfortable and everything was a treat for the senses. Don’t forget to use less soap, the water is well-softened. I would definitely return!

Magic in hocking hills

We were blown away with how cool this place was. The tub was a unique view of the stars and full moon. The decor was awesome full of serenity and uniqueness. We listen to tunes on the record player, played proved games, made dinner with the provided stuff in the Kitchen and cooked on the grill. The provided wood made for a great little fire. The host even came down to give us a bottle of wine since the closest store was 30’min out (we venmod her) . I was nervous about the bathroom not being attached but it’s a stones throw away and it’s beautiful and clean. We will be referring our friends and returning!

Magical and whimsical stay

We stayed at the Wildwood Domes, the stay was a perfect getaway for a last minute trip at a reasonable price. It had many trinkets and activities inside the dome if we were stormed in, and the aesthetic of the dome was very pleasing as well. Even though we went in the end of November we were very warm with the accommodations and supplemental heat sources provided for our stay. Would recommend to anybody looking for a nice place to stay at in the area
