The Space:

Seven by the Sea is a stunning holiday house located in a prime tourist hot spot in New Plymouth. Nestled right by the Scenic Coastal Walkway, this property offers easy access to many of the city's major attractions. It's the perfect base for experiencing everything New Plymouth has to offer. With the convenience of off-street parking, you can park your car and explore the area on foot.



Just a 5-minute stroll will take you to the Port, where you'll find a variety of restaurants and cafes. Enjoy delightful dining options, from a mouth-watering breakfast at the Bach on Breakwater to an elegant dinner at Gusto Restaurant. For a casual meal, Catch & Co offers the freshest fish in town. Spend your days at the New Plymouth Aquatic Centre, only a 5-minute walk away, or venture into the CBD for arts, culture, and shopping, just a 15-minute stroll from your doorstep.

Sunny, warm New Plymouth

We found the property clean, tidy and in a great location. Nearby is an excellent walking path, a short distance to the swimming pools, shops, restaurants and the ocean.

A wonderful home in a great location

We had a very comfortable stay with everything we could ever need. Thank you so much. We couldn’t put the dishwasher on as no powder or tablets. I also cleaned out the water dispenser tray in the fridge as it was very grubby. Otherwise awesome home.

But the shower was poor for everyone who tried it, working about half the time, we think due to the upstairs having no separate water system. Also we had difficulty getting information about where to find the house -- the website key numbers sent failed three times and I gave up and phoned. We were told the key has to be turned twice to the right to unlock. It's actually twice to the left to unlock, i.e counter clockwise.

This is only a top story of a 2 story home with a very small balcony of views into people's back yard not of the sea as a photo in photo gallery gives the impression. No Aircon so very hot upstairs. It's almost a given in today's world of rentals to have heating and cooling.

The location was as described but the steep drive and 2 fights of stair were not mentioned, nor were the two people living below the property which was disconcerting. Deck overlooked a neighbours rubbish heap and we could not pour wine into 4 matching glasses. Lots of the little things let this property down which could have been awesome.

Lovely home, good location.

Well appointed home with quality furnishings throughout. Very clean. Only downsides really are parking would be an issue if your group had 2 cars, as you must leave the area free for a tenant living downstairs. There was a laundry round the back, but as previous guests left their linen on the laundry tub I chose not to use that facility
