Such a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend away!! The view was amazing! The home has everything you would need. Such a plus to bring our dog as well. We explored three national parks all within close distance. Definitely recommend!!
My husband and I had a lovely stay. The gorgeous view alone would have been plenty, but the entire place was cozy, well-furnished, comfortable, clean, charming, and quiet. Had a great time trying to spot birds in the trees with kindly provided binoculars—which was just the kind of low-key activity we were looking for. It exceeded our expectations.
This is our 2nd time staying here and the view is just as spectacular as it was the 1st time. Many upgrades since our last stay. We are looking forward to our next stay,
Christel S.

Very nice cabin and amazing view. It was a bit difficult to find initially but follow the directions from owner exactly. My son and I enjoyed Mother's Day in and around New Paris.
It was a cozy cabin just like the desciption says. It was clean and had everything at our disposal. Id recommend it to any family looking to get away for a few days. Super relaxing and the view is to die for!
Our stay at the cabin was Great. We had rain the first few days but, then it cleared up and we were able to see a great view and have a bonfire. It was Very Peaceful & Beautiful.
I was looking for a small cabin with a mountain-top view.
All those desires were met in this cabin, and more!
I would highly recommend giving it a try!
The cabin and property are simply beautiful. We had perfect weather and our only regret is that we had to go. Everything was cleaned and well maintained. We will definitely be coming back in the future!
Gathered to watch the harvest moon and partial eclipse, but were fogged in. We still enjoyed the experience, the cabin is small, well equipped, cozy. Nice outdoor spaces.
If you like remote peace and quiet with stunning views, this is yr place! House has everything you need and the breezes are lovely. This was our second stay. That is how much we loved it!
This is my second time staying at the cabin with my two German Shepherds. My brothers stayed with me a couple of nights too. It is such a unique wonderful cabin and I love it. My dogs really love it there too.
This place is fantastic. The location and view can't be beat. The solitude and peacefulness are more than one could hope for. Out golden retriever, Jake, loved the woods and the freedom as he and Kath hiked the trails. Would love to see this again with the fall foliage.
And the pictures in the listing are pretty darn good! The view is breathtaking! We couldn’t have enjoyed ourselves more. Everything we needed to recharge our batteries. Perfect place to get away from it all. Everything was as described, only better!
We loved this cabin on a secluded mountaintop. The view was beautiful. We saw lots of wildlife including bear, fox, deer and turkeys. The campfires at night were great. Lots of hiking trails nearby. Be sure to bring necessary supplies as there are few restaurants, fast food places, convenience stores, big box stores, etc. nearby. And follow directions to find cabin.
We've never been to a place so secluded and peaceful. To boot the view was beautiful. We were concerned about no A/C but realized being so high on the mountain afforded continuous cool breezes keeping us comfortable. Wishing the master bed was larger as it kept for tight sleeping quarters for us. Overall...so pleased. Already booked for next year!!!
Wow! We were in the area for a family reunion and are so happy that we booked with Kim! The cottage is nicely laid out and has everything you need. Loved the morning sunshine and spectacular view. Enjoyed the deck, fire pit, the birds and the fresh mountain air. Had a couple days in low 80’s but the breeze flows through the cabin and kept it cool. Would definitely return and next time add a couple more days to just kick back and enjoy the lovely space
Charming Cabin, Breathtaking Views, near Hawk Watch
The cabin was cozy, quaint, complete, and thoroughly adequate for the two of us. The view!!! Wow. And there is just something about mountain air, so refreshing. We spent two days at the Allegheny Front Hawk Watch, a true natural wonder during migration season. In four hours the group counted over 400 hawks and eagles. The group of hawk watchers who gather there regularly were friendly and welcoming, offering helpful insights about the migration, and included us in the counting work.
