The side of the property we were on was very dated, smelled, overall dirty. We had someone throw-up outside our room door. We reported it to the front desk first thing in the morning. It was still there when we woke the next morning. I do not recommend!

Nice quiet location, despite being close to all main attractions in the city and the riverfront. Clean and modern, very helpful staff. Very comfy bed!

Love how eclectic this hotel is. It’s artsy and funky and everything I love about NOLA. The restaurant downstairs is DOPE but make a reservation! Loved the stay, loved the staff. Highly recommend

We have always loved staying at this unique hotel. It is always clean and the staff is friendly. My only dislike is they've moved parking to a garage a block away. It's a safety thing for me.

I can hear the neighbor’s TV louder than mine, there are bugs hanging in cob webs on the fire suppression system, the walls are dirty and I requested a room with a window and the window is very small and in a corner of the alley outside. The ratings were good when I chose the hotel but I don’t find it a relaxing environment at all. The bed is nice.

I love the warwhouse esthetic of the building. The artwork is beautiful and beautifully displayed. The service is relaxed yet professional. Its The Big Easy right? Lol. The only critique I have is that the filter of the vent in the bathroom needs to be changed. Everytime I took a shower I had a sneezing fit. Had to take Benadryl to make it stop. But Ill definitely be back for my next trip to NOLA!

Very charming hotel, we had a very late check in and early checkout, altogether less than 8 hours. But beds were comfortable and had good sleep.

We stayed on the first floor. The carpets were dingy. The wood flooring inside of our room creaked. The toilet clogged twice. The front desk person, when we checked in, seemed underprepared and chewed food with her mouth open. Positives included great location, amazing hotel restaurant (Compere Lapin), and quick service.

Great Hotel. In a slightly quieter area but an easy walk to the FQ, trolley, etc. Very cool vibe and the rooms are huge. It also smells wonderful like leather and wood. The only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is that it is impossible to get coffee before 7:30. There is no coffee in the room, so getting dressed to go downstairs and purchase only to find it doesn't open for another hour is annoying. The coffee bar (and the real bar) also close in the afternoon. There were several times during our stay that we wanted drinks and none were available. Overall I highly recommend the Old 77, but the beverage situation is an inconvenience.

Lovely boutique hotel. We had rooms with no windows. I was skeptical at first but it was fine. Sunday brunch is high demand so make a reservation if you wish to do that.

Beautiful common spaces, creative art everywhere. Would have been very happy if there were more hooks in the bathroom, more shelves in the bathroom, and more chairs in the room.

As a solo female traveler, I felt very safe here. The restaurant was amazing, but a bit expensive. My only complaint is that there was no coffee machine, and non-alcoholic late night drinks were not really in the area. That’s just a small luxury, though. This hotel is wonderful.

Very old, not clean and you can hear absolutely everything. Walls are way too thin. It was impossible to sleep due to the neighbor’s noise

This hotel is highly overpriced and overrated. They have no valet or even any kind of help with checkin no parking close by. We had to park in a parking garage blocks away from the hotel and carry luggage and they don’t even offer a luggage cart to bring your luggage in. Also there is no coffee available at this hotel until 7:30 am. Yes 730 am. There is no coffee pot in the room or a courtesy coffee in the lobby. Then when it is available they charge you for it. The only way I would recommend this property to someone if is they are hardcore drinkers because they don’t accommodate people who aren’t drinking. There was throw up in front of the hotel. Overall I would give this hotel 2 stars. At best. They really need to get it togather.
