"The gal at the front desk Wendy was very nice at check in. We went to our room and got things unpacked tried to turn on the tv but it wouldn’t come on so I told Wendy and she was very apologetic and gave us a new room and said how sorry she was that we had to pack everything back up. We moved into the other room and all was good. The room wasn’t real big but was very nice it had a stuffed chair and a desk w/a chair bed and pillows were comfortable. We were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn’t especially good no eggs I’ve never been to a hotel where the breakfast bar didn’t serve eggs so a little disappointed in that. Other than that we were very happy."

"Room was clean and spacious as was the bathroom. The ceiling fan worked well and even in summer heat it was very cool for sleeping. Just behind the lodge is a short hike to a gorgeous overlook. The food at the restaurant on site was delicious and all staff were friendly and competent. I'll return for sure!"
