This Updated Home Has Everything!

This great home has 4 bedrooms - 2 queen, 1 king, and 1 bedroom with twin beds, plus a cat napper sofa. There is also a portable cot that sleeps 1. This updated home has updated appliances and granite, and both bathrooms are completely renovated with tile and marble. There is a wonderful screened in porch facing the lake with spectacular, unimpeded views of the water and wildlife. You will love having your morning coffee there and watching the sunrise. The kitchen and living room area is one big open space and is designed for large families. Beneath the screened porch is a patio with a porch swing and outdoor furniture. There are plenty of floats and various sizes of life jackets for enjoying the water, and there is a ping pong table, 2nd bath, and washer/dryer downstairs. There are also 2 kayaks and a paddle board for guests to enjoy. In 2018, we built a beach area at the water front with real beach sand. It's such a nice, relaxing feature, and children especially love playing in the sand. There's also a fire pit for those evening gatherings near the water around the fire. In 2019, we added an additional indoor stairwell leading to the downstairs. If you have a PWC (personal watercraft, like a Wave Runner or Jet Ski), we have installed a landing pad joining the pier where it can be safely parked when not in use. Guests are welcome to bring their own boat which can be parked safely on the side of the pier. (The boat lift is reserved for the owner's boat.)

Great Family Getaway

Our family of 7 had a wonderful time. The home is comfortable and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed for the week. We had a wonderful stay in April at this property! The house was very clean and even more spacious than the pics look! Kitchen is very well stocked with necessary amenities ! The screened in porch was a beautiful spot to look out at the lake! We had so much fun fishing from the dock and kayaking in the provided kayaks. Very relaxing week!!! Owners were very responsive and great to work with! Would definitely stay again!

Lovely Baden Lake Stay

We had an amazing vacation here! There was plenty to do (fishing, kayaks, games, cornhole, etc). We had the pleasure of meeting the owner when they came to collect the trash… Dianne was super nice and gave us some tips for catfishing. We would 100% recommend this house to friends and hope to return in the future.

Another great stay

We stayed at the house in 2022 and looked forward to visiting again. Our group consisted of five adults and a toddler. Our son and his family with three children stayed nearby and visited every day. There was plenty of room in the family room and on the screened in porch. The bathroom in the basement was very convenient when we used the beach. The kids enjoyed the sand beach, swimming, and fishing from the dock. Great place! Look forward to visiting again.

My family and I had a good time. The house is very nice and clean. Kitchen is very nice, well stocked and lots of counter space. Love the big window over kitchen sink. Big showers in both bathrooms. Lots of seating in living room. Boat dock is very nice and loved jet ski ramp!

Beautiful lake house

The stay was wonderful beautiful weekend with all the fall colors! Got married at Stoney Mountain Vineyard about 35 minutes away if you can keep GPS signal for directions (T-Mobile not best in these areas) It is still is a 5 star rating for the house, location and amenities the house provided! This house had everything we needed: a very well stocked kitchen, screened deck, lots of table games, 2 kayaks and a paddle board, and a dock for our boat. And it is 2 doors away from a boat ramp and Scallywags grill with weekend live entertainment! The only down side for us was only one bath on the main (bedroom) level. But there is a 2nd full bath in the basement. side was

Wonderful views from dock, screened-in porch and house

First time at Badin Lake. My mom and I stayed here in early September. Dianne was a great host and responded to our one question promptly. The house is 4 bedrooms on the main floor with a full bath on each floor (1 bath downstairs in the basement, washer/dryer down there too). 2 kayaks (guessing 8 ft) and lots of water toys (paddle board too). Everything in the main floor is updated (including downstairs bath). Another review noted the upstairs toilet is close to the shower but it did not bother us (I am 5'10"). The screened-in porch was lovely for having our meals (also a dining table in the house) and sun protection. The furniture on the dock was new and so comfy. There is some shade on the dock during late morning and later in the afternoon which is nice. There are 4 ways into the water. It is beneficial to wear swim shoes to get in and out of the water, but not necessary. We loved the house and are already planning to go back a couple times next year during the swimming season.
