This year, the USA will be Celebrating 250 years of Independence, and the Raymond Emerson House was there when George Washington and his troops passed through our area. We don't know if George stayed here, but we believe his officers billeted here in preparation for the Battle of Trenton and Princeton. Only if walls could talk.
A stay at the Raymond House will allow you a wonderful time for biking along the Delaware River canal, leisurely walks, visiting our many covered bridges, antiquing in Lahaska and Lambertville, upscale shopping in Doylestown and Frenchtown--casual and fine dining......and the activities continue for you in our fine area. Our Guest House is just 6 miles from New Hope, PA, and Lambertville, NJ, and 7 Miles from Doylestown and Frenchtown. We are just Minutes from these wonderful towns. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to INDULGE!!! Our hideaway.... relaxing, romantic ambiance with cozy, elegant, and comfortable furnishings will have you making special memories. Local Boutiques, gourmet as well as casual dining, are almost steps away. Private baths and modern amenities are part of your experience. Many activities abound in this area throughout the year. Favorites of visitors include Peddlers Village for shopping, dining, and a fun experience. Fonthill Castle in Doylestown has tours as well as the Mercer Museum, with 40,000 artifacts on display from the Industrial Revolution. Sand Castle Winery, Pearl S. Buck Home, and the Michener Art Museum are wonderful places to tour.
