This was the worst stay at any hotel. It was for my daughters birthday and first thing the indoor pool was closed, the whole reason we even booked that hotel and that was not communicated at all upon arrival. One of the rooms smelled of an overly floral masking scent like a deodorizer was used, it instantly caused headaches, the shower was dirty, there was trash left on the floor from previous guests and no toilet paper. The other room did not share the scent but had a clogged sink, no hand soap, a wet spot that we were suspicious of being dog pee as they allow pets, my daughter stepped in that, holes in the sheets. I complained with Expedia who called the hotel they said as she wasn’t the manager she couldn’t approve a refund but the manager tomorrow would. She comes up to investigate the rooms and is also shocked and apologetic, we switched our room and this one smelled musty and old, my allergies immediately started up, the microwave was disgusting, the phone was missing buttons and unusable. Again the front desk woman assured me I’d get a refund and apologized. She even gave me a complimentary Benadryl since I was now having an allergic reaction to the new room at 10pm. I talked to Expedia who once again assured me I’d get a refund and they would never allow such customer dissatisfaction only to be told the hotel refused and there’s nothing they can do about it. I will never stay there again but I also doubt I will ever use Expedia again either.
