The room was very inexpensive, so we accepted the risk. This was a place for a construction worker who needed a bed and shower; not what we expected from EconoLodge. The restroom had several burn areas from smokers, there was no fan, the ceiling was in disrepair, the metal bed frame sounded as if it would break and fall to the tile floor. The towels and sheets had stains on them, towels were small and nonabsorbent. We had to park away from our room since worker vans took all the spaces. Hot water only went to luke warm. The office area was closed in with plexy glass so we couldn’t hear the person. The office area felt very unsafe and unclean. The gentleman was extremely friendly. The ID was copied on a photo copier which compromises the safety of the patron’s ID. They charged a $50 deposit (waiting to be sure it didn’t go through) for a room that was already damaged by others. We slept in our clothes because the place felt so dirty. The location was good for access to restaurants and stores. We barely slept. But again, it was inexpensive.
