Perfectly adequate for the average traveler just looking for a conveniently located, clean place to stay. This was my second stay and I’ll be back. My only concern: the shower floor is extremely slippery, especially once you use shampoo- I had to put a hand towel down to feel safe.

Not a terrible place to stay but not really a place that makes sense. My room was clean and small, but cozy. Honestly, room was very basic but good for a one night stay. My check in was great and the communication with staff who sent me instructions was also great. My main issue was with the basic room at this refurbished motel. My toiletries were open, definitely not new, and my mattress was uncomfortable because of lumps. At around 2 am I was awoken by what sounded like garbage trucks for an hour. I realized in the morning that behind my room was a USPS facility that had trucks backing in and going out almost all night. The traffic passing by the front of the hotel was also loud all night and even worse was the mini refrigerator. Again, if I had to do it again, I’d stay at a traditional hotel.

Check-in was contactless and easy. Room looked really nice, and was clean. Bathroom and water pressure were fine. A perfect place to stay without ll the extras (breakfast, pool, etc.) We will be staying here again on our next trip.

By far the best place to stay in the area. The staff is extremely proactive and responsive. We checked in late so they left us very detailed instructions for our arrival. The room was absolutely spotless (probably the cleanest hotel I’ve ever stayed in, and I do a lot of traveling). Do not judge this place by the surrounding area or it’s unassuming exterior, this was truly a 5 star stay.

Loved My Stay at the Carriage House
This little Boutique Motel was nicely remodeled and has all the amenities in the room needed for a weekend stay. I travel quite a bit and will definitely stay here again. I love supporting small business owners and their dreams for success. You won't be disappointed staying at the Carriage House.
