Let the kids run loose in the vast playground area modelled on the shape of a small fort and set within sprawling fig trees. Footie fans can take advantage of the park's soccer field for an invigorating kick about. If it's delicacies you're after, treat yourself to some of the many tropical delights, organic spices and local crafts on offer at the stalls in the bimonthly farmers market, or simply take some time out under the shade of a Jacaranda tree to sit and contemplate the superbly planned horticultural creations dotted around the park.Come nightfall, head to the nearby Brisbane Powerhouse for a cultural fix, or simply relax and enjoy a well-earned drink. Located just over 3 kilometres from central Brisbane, the park is easily accessible by ferry and is also well served by a number of bus routes.
