Cabin was clean and comfortable. The acorns and other things dropping on the metal roof was a little disturbing. Getting to the cabin after dark was a little challenging on the small roads. Probably best to advise travelers to arive before dark if possible. Fishing on private dock was great. My son loved it. Thanks for a great visit!

This cabin was the perfect weekend get away for my wife and I! The views were absolutely stunning and the cabin was quaint and well stocked. My only recommendation is to make sure you have what you need before arriving because it’s out of the way and not near any stores!

This place was off the beaten path. Location was perfect. Real close to the water with amazing sunsets and sun rises. We were fortunate to be there for a full moon. Caught alot of fish and alot of sun. Highly recommend to get away from the rat race.

Wonderful getaway

We had a great time on Kentucky Lake. The cabin was exactly as it is shown in the photos. Very clean, beds are comfortable. Air conditioning worked great. The view was beautiful. We fished both off the dock and on the lake in our boat. The boat ramp is close by.

Peaceful Lake Views and Perfect Getaway Spot

The view of the lake from the house was absolutely stunning—perfect for watching sunsets right from the dock. The house had everything we needed to cook great grilled dinners, and we really appreciated the cozy touches like board games and puzzles. One of us even finished a 500-piece puzzle during a storm that briefly knocked out the power. Even then, the setting made it feel like part of the adventure. A peaceful, well-equipped retreat in a beautiful spot.

Reading Weekend

My girlfriends and I had an absolutely lovely stay. The property blew us away as soon as we arrived, and it continued to with each sunrise and sunset. I would definitely return to this property. My only concern was the cleaning fee + the list of what to do before checkout. I would have much preferred to spend the end of our trip relaxing outside than cleaning the house for the cleaner.

Enjoyed our stay

We had a peaceful and relaxing weekend. The house was well stocked with pretty much everything you might need. We fished off the dock and caught a wide variety of fish, but we had better luck and caught larger fish in the evening. A huge storm came through and the host kept in contact to make sure we were ok. We ended our stay short because of the county wide loss of power but definitely plan on coming back.

JUST WHAT WE NEEDED

The location of this property was great but the view was even better. Gorgeous! The dock is right down the hill, easily accessible and it was perfect for fishing. We loved that there were kayaks available for us to use and also that the house was stocked like a normal house with pots and pans and dishes and spices. It was very clean and just a perfect place to stay. Beds could have been more comfy but that is the only flaw I seen. Great place. Will go back.
