Windmill at Waterwheel is a privately owned condo at Waterwheel Condominiums on the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels. Enjoy the 5-acre riverfront expanse of lush grass under Pecan and Cypress trees. Relax in one of the four hot tubs, splash in the two pools, and play and fish in the Guadalupe River.

You'll feel secluded from the crowds nestled in a quiet neighborhood, yet enjoy quick and easy access to all the hot spots. Schlitterbahn is 6 blocks down the street, Hinman Island Park and the City Tube Chute are less than a mile away, and you can drive to downtown New Braunfels, Landa Park, or Historic Gruene Historic in 5 minutes.

All the comforts of home are provided including a fully equipped kitchen with all modern appliances that is stocked with plenty of cookware and dishware. Washer and dryer, WiFi, and Smart TV’s are all included. The master bedroom includes a private bath with shower-tub, and the central hallway bath has a walk-in shower. The condo comfortably sleeps 6 guests in a queen bed in the master, queen bed in the guest room, and full size sleeper sofa bed in the living room. All bed and bath linens are provided.

The condo is well stocked so you can pack light. Soaps, shampoo, toilet paper and paper towels, dish soap, laundry soap are all included as well as coffee, sugar, and creamer.

The door is equipped with a digital lock, and you receive a unique code for your stay. No need to check in anywhere, and no keys to keep up with. Arrive, let yourself in, and make yourself at home!

Family Getaway before school

Beautiful Condo and Property

Spotless and well maintained. Beautiful grounds on the river with pools and jacuzzies. Close to everything in NB and Gruene. Highly recommend!

Clean and comfortable in a great location!

Absolutely no complaints about this property. Everything was as specified in the listing, and we felt very comfortable during our stay. The location is walking distance to Schlitterbahn, and a quick 3-5 minute drive to downtown. We will absolutely be back!

Very nice space. I really enjoyed the pools and the river. The river is less intense just up the street in the city park. Spacious balcony and living room. Worked out well for 5 of us to stay.

Weekend Getaway

We came into town for a wedding and enjoyed so much more. We spent some time down at the river, sat in the hot tub, found a wonderful local restaurant close by and went shopping in Gruene. The location is perfect, the condo was so clean and the owner was easy to reach (although we had no issues). We will be back!

Great Location and good sized condo.

Had deer wondering around the property. Pools were nice and there is a nice rock fountain feature. Easy parking. We were not at the condo much because we drove to Kerrville to see the eclipse.

Great getaway spot

We went to enjoy the river and this spot is perfect for that! The river is basically in your backyard! The unit was super cute and very clean! Washer and dryer is in the unit and there were laundry pods 🙂 Super convenient when you don’t want your clothes to stay wet and dirty from the river Well stocked w tp and towels and the pool is right outside your balcony. We will definitely stay again!

Stay in February

Came to visit family in the area and this was a great place to stay. Had very relaxing views a great community of people that live and are visiting like me. The Condo was very clean and neat. Had very nice accomodations and plenty of room thru our the Condo. Was off season for tubing which was nice because was less traffic and more quiet for me. But would like to come during the Summer this place had wristbands for the area. Definitely highly recommend to anyone. And Suzanne is the best very nice and was available with text and call. Great condo with easy and enjoyable access to river floating!

Our recent stay was wonderful! The entire process was easy and the condo was just like previous reviews stated. Great complex. We stayed during the week and it was quiet. My kids had the pool almost to themselves the entire stay. The complex is near the Guadalupe River and all we had to do was take a short walk up the road, could float about an hour, and landed right at the condo. Host has tips and maps of the area so we could maximize our time there. Our family loved it! This unit is so comfortable. The two bedroom/baths are super clean and the living area is great although we spent a great deal of time on the patio overlooking the pool. Stocked kitchen made it easy to cook our own meals. We'll definitely stay here if we visit NB again.

Extended Weekend Getaway

We found the accommodations to be comfortable and the location to local eateries & places of interest was great. We celebrated my dad's 75th birthday here! My parents had the primary bedroom and said the pillows were not the best but they enjoyed the space in the bedroom. They do caution other older adults that the shower floor was extremely slippery in the primary bathroom. They choose to shower in the secondary bathroom after their first shower. The secondary bedroom had a queen size bed that was comfortable for me and I appreciated having my own TV in that bedroom. The kitchen had the basics we needed, but the corkscrew was broken so we purchased a souvenier for ourselves the next day. Overall would stay here again and would recommend visiting the New Braunfels area during the non-peak time of summer as the less crowds and cooler weather were highly enjoyable!
