Time to take a break? Make a getaway? Ready to head to the Hill Country for some much needed R&R? Riverside Roost is your ideal home away from home on scenic banks of the Guadalupe River in New Braunfels.

This 1,200 sq ft home features three bedrooms and two full baths, comfortably hosting up to 6 guests. The kitchen is equipped with essential cookware and dinnerware, plus a grill is available for All Y'all who can't wait to cook up a terrific meal to eat out on the spacious deck. Riverside's large, relaxing upper deck is accessible through the living room and is shaded by giant bald cypress trees which shoot up from the riverbank below. Down at ground level you'll find open patios with “front row” seating so you can enjoy the river a little closer or at least enjoy playing lifeguard for the kids comfortably! Entering the water is easy via the steps that lead to a small platform where you can pop right into the river. Taking a dip in the river…now that's a Texas Hill Country vacation!

Great spot on the river! We would be relaxing in our floats in the water and floaters would pass by saying they wished they had the house. Rooms are bathroom were spacious and clean. Would definitely stay again.

Cozy place by the River

Our family enjoyed the River Roost to relax and spend time near the water. Fishing and toobing was a blast and the convenience of the place was also perfect.

Lovely Location

It was a great place for us to spend Thanksgiving with family. The river, trees and deck were wonderful - we really enjoyed being outside. The large kitchen table was perfect for eating meals and playing Mexican Train! We look forward to returning.

Mini Family Vacation

The house was very clean and the location is great. We loved the patio and convenient access to the river. This is a deeper part of the river and good for swimming or fishing. We are looking forward to visiting again next year.

Great spot to enjoy the river.

I booked this property with some friends and the house was just as described in the listing. The neighborhood is peaceful and we had the river to ourselves all weekend. It was quite nice that they had some tubes available for us to use. The house itself is quaint and had all the things necessary to cook, but the oven was not working and there is no dishwasher. I would recommend this place for a small group that is looking to unwind and enjoy nature.

Omg amazing

This place definitely exceeded all expectations we had coming in. Anything you can think of this house will have. Zero complaints from myself or family. The access to the river was exceptional and super easy to get to. We highly recommend booking here if you want to float the river. We used the grill outside and it worked perfectly. Also having a refrigerator outside was a plus for drinks and snacks. We’ll be back again for sure.

Nice River Side

The house itself was good, pretty clean and water pressure was good. The beds were uncomfortable but that would be a personal preference on comfort levels and the coffee pot didn't work, probably just needs a good cleaning but after 30 min there was only a few cups brewed. The location on the river is good however it is located directly on the curve of the street so getting your vehicle in and out is tricky and SO MANY people were speeding around the curve along with many motorcycles. We got in the river from the concrete dock but there is no ladder or way back up out and it is deep there, we had to go next door and use their ladder. The fishing was fun and got a good size catfish!

Enjoyed our stay! Everything was nice and in working order. The location was great and nice floating in front of house, nice to have the cement platform. Loved sitting on deck in the morning listening to all of the birds, so peaceful. We will or would stay here again.
