Green House on the River, Walk to Gruene Hall!

Located on two acres with 100 feet of Guadalupe River frontage walking distance to Gruene. Property has two large decks facing the river and views of the iconic Gruene Watertower. Rent a tube from our neighbor Rocking R or bring your own toys for a private river launch which is ground level no steep stairs to deal with.. World famous Gruene Hall & several wineries are right around the corner. Green River house has the best location on the Guadalupe river and is the closest home to the rapids and bridge on Gruene Road.. Our guests enjoy a sense of privacy and nature in an immaculate setting. House has two levels. Each level has decks running the length of the home. The first level has two bedrooms, two private baths. The kitchen is located on the main level. There is no den, but the decks can serve as one. The second floor has a loft area with no bathroom but offers one queen size bed & one single small futon. The upper deck has incredible views of the Guadalupe river, with plenty of new comfortable patio furniture. Beneath the house is a large covered area for outdoor dining, provided is a brand new grill, picnic table and plenty of seating.
Walk to the river from your own back yard. Enjoy private river access and enjoy shallow running water. To the right you will find fast flowing rapids, on the left deeper calmer water.
PLEASE NOTE: IN ORDER TO MAKE A RESERVATION GUESTS MUST PROVIDE A GOVERNMENT ID PRIOR TO MAKING A RESERVATION.
All service dogs welcome.

Parking is soley on the gravel driveway not the grass.

Absolutely cute place. We rented for family attending our daughter's wedding. We appreciated the early check-in because of the timing of the wedding. It was conveniently located to the Chandelier of Gruene. I would highly recommend. It was conveniently located and check-in was very smooth.

Fantastic home in the heart of Greune! We were in for my step daughters wedding with reception being very close by so weren’t able to fully enjoy the house. The property was great and the house was very clean. Do to the recent floods we weren’t able to float directly from the property. The location was amazing and a short walk to Rockin R and Gruene. We saw a herd of deer every night in the yard. Will definitely stay here again.

Perfect location in Gruene!

The house was perfect and just a short walk to Gruene. We brought our RTV to drive into town. River access was very close. We enjoyed the area under the house to hangout, along with the balcony. We will definitely stay here again.

The house was well spaced, the balconies were perfect to make space feel even bigger. Location on the river was added bonus and w/n close proximity to Gruene shops, restaurants and short drive to Schlitterbahn. We would definitely book again.

Location couldn’t be more clutch — the short walk into the town and the deck views create an amazing experience. The place desperately needs a deep clean beyond the surfaces Spider webs in the light fixtures, dust on the tops of the flat surfaces and under the beds as well…light in the stairwell was out as well as the light for ceiling fan 100% recommend

Great Location

We loved out stay here, however with no living space and us 7 ladies not really wanting to hang out the humid morning air, it was challenging hanging out the king bedroom. The river was great and walking into Gruene was as great (exercise up the hill) and floating right next door was amazing.

This property is adorable! The beds are comfy and the outdoor seating area under the house was a great place to relax for the evening! I think the price was a little high for the quality of the place, but would definitely book again!

The house was in a central location with reaturants and shopping in walking distance. Plenty of space for the kids and adults. Nice firepit outside The price of the house was acceptable but I find the fifty percent in additional fees and charges excessive!

Great property for 2 smaller families. 2 of the bedrooms are on the opposite side of the house from each other so you aren’t next to each other and each have their own bathroom. The deck and fire pit had plenty of room to sit around and great access to the river.

Great stay

Celebrated a family members birthday and the home accommodated for that. The fire pit was great and the river was a short walk down the property. I do wish the exterior photo was updated to reflect no trees around the home. We were hoping for some shade to sit under and enjoy a breeze. But over all was a great visit!

Our family enjoyed our time in town and floating in the river. We found the group living space to be most functional outside/under the house. Inclement weather would make this more difficult, but the weather was great for us. Would return.

Great weekend!

Really enjoyed the location of This house, right across the street from tubing, great well lit downstairs area to hangout, and a quick walk down to the water to relax. I would say more so sleeps 7 comfortably. Overall enjoyed the stay and house was well stocked with cookware and nice extras like coffee!
