This is the best hotel in San Marcos. You can get around easy without having to use the I35. It’s close to shopping and places to eat.

I like that this property has plenty of parking for regular cars, however, I'd like to see more designated handicapped parking spots that are closer to the entrances. Also, only having one major elevator bank would mean that all the elevators needed to be working and functioning properly on the holiday weekend.

We were there with a large group. Dani at the front desk made sure to make us feel welcome and went out of her way to help us. She was incredible. She went over and above to make sure our family was taken care of. Will absolutely stay there again.

We were able to check in early, which was great. Outlets and restaurants were conveniently close by and we loved how spacious our room was and how friendly the staff were.We will definitely stay here from now on when we visit the San Marcos area.

Room smelled of mildew, dirty, stained towels and room was extremely dirty. Bed was rock hard. Felt like we were staying at a one nighter motel. They need to tear the place down and start over! Will never stay there again, in fact we left a day early.

This property used to be one of the nicest hotels in San marcos and now it seems that it has been let go. The room smelled of wet carpet and rhe floors in the halls were dirty. The property lacks maintenance on the seperate floors you can see where a little bit of paint could fix some defects.

My bathroom had mold in the shower and the walls. Pillows had no stuffing. The rooms are out of date. The decor looks like it’s from the mid 1980s. The breakfast buffet was bland and the juices were empty and it took them forever to refill them. When I picked up a plate it was still oily and the next one had food on it. It took an act of congress to get someone to bring silverware. The prices to stay there did not reflect what my group expected. Also charging $15 to park in a huge lot with half the lights not working and no security is ridiculous. I visit San Marcos multiple times per year and this is the first and last time I will stay there

The hotel is nice and the staff was great. The room was a bit dated and furniture was beat up. The space in the room was nice and we appreciated the two TVs for the kids and adults to split up. There was not enough pillows for everyone and there was no condnitioner in the shower. The breakfast was meiocre, eggs were cold, coffee was super weak, overall offerings were lacking. The location is good and the overall experience was good. The snack bag provided was a hit with the kiddos!

Needs a refurb…no a/c..
Air conditioner didn’t work, they did bring up a box fan in the middle of the night, but room never got below 73 degrees and no air flow. Room was stuffy and very dated. This hotel needs a refurbishment, wouldn’t stay here again unless it gets updated.

Wasn't amazing but ok, we called before booking and were told hot tub worked and the property had room service, neither were accurate! I had to go down to bar to order my sons food that took 45min. Bed was comfortable but room hardly had hot water so not great experience this visit.
