It was a nice place to stay, perfect for two people to come and go while exploring the area. Short drive to downtown Wimberly and the Blue Hole. We will book again next time we are in the area!
We loved our stay! Everything was clean, nicely decorated, comfortable, and well maintained. My husband thoroughly enjoyed talking to Joyce! We will definitely be back!
This property is the perfect place for a couple to get away. Not too far from essentials such as grocery store and fun but far enough away fro main roads that your stay is not interrupted by traffic and noise from neighbors. We had a great time and were able relax
Quite stay but close enough town. Not on the river like assumed in pictures but close enough to walk to and enjoy. Owners were on the property but were never outside during our stay. Decorations are mismatched and not like the pictures but still a cozy and comfortable stay. Would recommend.
I had the best experience staying in this cottage. It is tiny, I was alone and it wasn’t big enough, but a couple who share a bed would have just enough space too! It was very clean, very well decorated and I felt safe and comfortable throughout my stay. There is rover access behind the main house and the table and chairs and fire pit were perfect! I would stay here again with it hesitation.
Excellent and super cute! Perfect for my wife and I on her birthday 🎂 weekend! We will definitely stay here in the future. I would say it’s a bit of a drive getting to the cottage. But worth it if your looking for peace and quite. Also, clean too!
We were in Wimberley for the weekend to visit our daughter so we didn’t spend a lot of time at the location. It’s not fancy but the bed was good, bathroom was nice size (walk-in shower, no tub, but we were fine with that), air conditioner was maybe a little loud but it worked. Small kitchen but all we used was the mini fridge and sink. Finding the drive to the cottage was a little tricky and the link sent was helpful. Gates are necessary in Texas so just be aware that there is an open/close process.

Cozy Cottage was having electrical problems, so the owner of the property offered us a second loft apartment on the same property. The leasing agent let us know a few hours before check in so we had time to decide if we wanted to do that or change to a totally different place. We decided to stay rather than change. The owner and her daughter greeted us when we arrived that evening and were very nice. The place is an older garage apartment. The outside needs a little care, but the inside, although older, is nice and very neat and clean. The main bed is comfortable, and the bathroom looked recently renovated. Down some stairs is a complete functioning kitchen. There is a nice walk down to the river behind the main house.
The owner, Ms. Joyce is so sweet and accommodating. This little cottage is in her backyard which unfortunately means her house is between you and any view of the river. There’s a small area outside the cottage door with a table and 2 chairs where you can have your morning coffee etc. there’s a fence beside it that’s long enough to give you some privacy from the main house. The inside is nice with a comfortable king bed and 2 comfortable chairs. The bathroom appears to have been recently updated which is nice. There’s a small kitchenette with 2 barstools for eating at the counter, a small microwave and a small fridge. There’s no microwaveable dishes so you’ll need paper plates, also you’ll need paper towels. It’s a short drive to town but you do have to open and close the gate each time you leave and return. Our stay was a nice getaway for us. We just wished we had a patio with a view. Other than that it was nice and a pleasure to meet Ms. Joyce.

Sweet little cottage just right for a weekend for two.
Cute little cottage and very convenient to the town square. Bed was comfy, kitchen had everything needed except paper towels. Spacious bathroom and shower, but only found 1 washcloth and handtowel for a 3 night stay. Would have liked at least 1 more of each. River was very low, but still peaceful to sit by and watch the water. River access is a little further away than pictures indicate, and down some rocky terrain, but still a short walk. Wi-Fi was good and TV has streaming apps pre-loaded. Cold A/C, but a little loud since it's a window unit. Owner lives on-site and greeted me upon arrival which was a nice touch. Overall really enjoyed my stay.
Wimberley is a fantastic destination, and Rosie’s cabin was a charming place to stay. Joyce is a wonderful host who goes the extra mile to make sure her guests are comfortable!
