"The best thing about Hermitage is the cozy bar and Shawn who was friendly and helpful. Lady at the front desk, not so much. Almost never on duty and gives you the look that says, "what do you want? you're bothering me." The food in the restaurant was expensive and mediocre. We only ate dinner there once and won't again. "Nisbet is on a former sugar plantation and buttresses the Atlantic. The grounds and rooms are well-maintained. It’s very laid back, an older crowd, except for the lively Thursday night barbecue on the beach. Outsiders come to Nisbet and live music is offered. Dinner food is fair, although quite good at the barbecue. Breakfast and lunch are pretty good, but with limited menus. Overall, a very relaxing vacation, but it is best to go off grounds for other experiences and restaurants."
