  • Tucked among beautiful Scots pine forest in the Cairngorms National Park, this cosy cottage offers a peaceful Highland escape in the heart of Nethy Bridge, affectionately known as the “Forest Village.” The cottage is part of The Lazy Duck, a unique retreat featuring off-grid huts, a sauna, and a wellbeing studio.

    Step outside to explore woodland trails, riverside walks, and nearby castle ruins, all just moments from your door. The village itself is warm and welcoming, with a lovely café, local events, and easy access to some of the UK’s best outdoor adventures, including hiking, skiing, pony trekking, and river tubing.

    The cottage combines simple comfort with a strong connection to nature, making it the perfect base for groups, families, or anyone looking to slow down and experience the beauty of the Highlands. Matt and Roger, who care for the site, live nearby and are always happy to help guests make the most of their stay.
