"Barbara greeted us with her friend who helped translate and explain all the amenities of her property. The pictures don’t do it justice as the place is even more intriguing and beautiful. Her husband also helped us get the tv working while we were at dinner so we could watch the final game of the World Cup. "Pros: Daniela, da buona padrona di casa ci ha fatto trovare in casa una bottiglia di acqua e un barattolo di caffè...piccole cose che non sono scontate e quando ci sono si apprezzano sempre molto. L' host magari non lo si vede ma è come se fosse lì ad accoglierti. Grazie ancora Daniela e complimenti per la casa. Un caro saluto dalle 7 amiche di Lucca."

"Clean, comfortable beds, nicely decorated, and with all the essentials for a long or short stay."

"The apartment was clean. The communication to and from the Franchesca was great. The property was easy to find and parking is very close to the entrance. Do be warned, you have to climb 2 flights of stairs, there is no elevator. And of course, we packed way to much. There is also no air-conditioning. There are 2 floor fans and if you open up all of the doors and windows, you can get a good breeze. We were here the first week of September and it is still very hot and very humid."

"Overall, very much enjoyed our stay and the apartment was in a nice location with plenty nearby. The floors were a bit dirty and we weren’t given adequate hand soap in the bathroom to use. There was also a fairly large cobweb in the closet/bonus room with a spider living in it"

"Angenehmes B&B in einem historischen Gebäude. Leider war zu dieser Zeit (Mai 2025) daneben eine Baustelle. Es hat eine eigene kleine Küche. Leider wird ein Geschirrspülmittel nicht zur Verfügung gestellt. Dafür war Kaffee und ein kleines einfaches Frühstück vorhanden. "
