"From booking to check out everything was great. Room was super clean and comfortable and we loved the extra treats in our room 😊 so close to a bar/restaurant and gas station. The restaurant next door has great food and service too! Only thing to mention is there is no sign by the road so we did pass it the 1st time. But would stay here again. So convenient to our family in Gwinn and Skandia"

"This simple, no-frills, property was close to everything! We could walk to NMU campus, downtown, and lots of cafes right down the block. As noted in the listing, it is right across the street from BlackrocksBrewery, so we could hear music from our rooms and a little bit of street noise from people leaving. There was a fan provided, that helped with white noise, so everyone was able to sleep OK."

"This location was great for us! It was only a few minutes from our families' homes. The space is very modern and was spotless. It looked brand new! Everything was perfect! The owner communicated very well and was very receptive to our questions. Renting this unit was a great experience and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting the area. Downtown Ishpeming is only a minute away! This place was perfect! Thank you!"

"I loved being in this comfortable, cozy and clean apartment that has all one needs. Location is great, within walking distance to everything you'd need or want. I would love to stay here for several weeks or months actually! The stairs were a bit narrow which made it somewhat difficult taking my luggage up for me...but I would still come back!"

"This is an excellent property. We've stayed here twice and look forward our next stay. Having stayed in other properties I'm even more impressed with how the host renovated this property. She took special effort in the bathroom. The kitchen is roomy and very well equipped. I've missed this kitchen set up while in other properties. Very good host, wonderful location. "We had a great time! We went packed and ready for “glamming” trip and got just that! The property is beautiful including the creek that runs on the back side. Yes, we had to put water in the toilet tank because the pipes were frozen and yes we heated water on the stove for washing dishes but this place was just perfect despite those things. Will definitely return and recommend 100% if you want a peaceful, relaxing getaway!"
