"Centrally located for Eymoutiers, all the town could offer was within walking distance. The access details for the property was confused, as was communication with the host. Once that was resolved and we were met by the host our stay was relaxed and enjoyable."

"The cottage was beautiful designed but the ceilings are very low. Not really suitable for people above 1.80 meter. We think this should be mentioned in the advertisement. The owner is a very nice woman who wants to help if you have any questions. The outside space was smaller than we anticipated, because of the parked cars. "Our 3 week tour starting in the Ardeche valley, culminated in our last of 5 hotel stopovers being at Croix de Reh due to its proximity to the Lac de Vassiviere - a stunning location - pre planned on our trip. Croix de Reh was far and away the best of our hotel experiences on our entire trip. The property itself is full of old world charm and our room was spacious and extremely comfortable. Owners Peter and Galla are friendly and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble in making us feel at home. Peter was on hand with a beer and a chat by the pool. And Galya prepared some fantastic meals. All at a very competitive price. We have no hesitation in offering the strongest recommendation for hotel Croix de Reh. "
