You've found the perfect spot to enjoy Lake Living. Spectacular views in a private retreat on Lake James with this 5 Bedroom 3 Bath lake front home with private dock. Enter the house & you're greeted to an open floor plan with soaring ceilings.
This home has a large fully equipped kitchen featuring a big island and plenty of room to entertain family and friends. The main floor also provides access to the screened porch and large deck overlooking the lake.
Your vacation home will comfortably sleep 12 with the following bedding:

2 Queens
2 Full Beds
2 twins
The house was designed to host multiple families with 2 kitchens & 2 living areas. The main floor provides 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms with a full kitchen featuring a large island. The lower level provides 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with a kitchenette and ping pong table.
Guests enjoy SmartTVs with YouTube TV Service on the 3 high def TVs and broadband internet with WiFi access is provided.
Once outside guests are welcomed with a small sandy beach and fire pit at water's edge. Out on the lake we have a private dock where you'll have the use of our 2 paddleboards and a kayak which provide a great way to explore and enjoy beautiful Lake James. If you'd like to do more extensive exploring on the lake we're happy to refer you to a couple of marinas that offer pontoon boat rentals.
The house provides everything necessary for a great base to ensure you enjoy a fun & relaxing vacation on the most beautiful lakes in the Carolinas.
Guests will have access to entire property both inside and outside
We respect & ensure the privacy of our guests however we have a team available to quickly address any needs &/or requests
Holiday Shores is a terrific neighborhood that offers beautiful lake access and lake views.
A car is a necessity around Lake James. However, there are great hiking and biking trails nearby. A boat is nice & we provide Stand-up Paddle Boards and a kayak. Pontoon boats and jet skis are also available for rent on the lake.
There is much to explore around Lake James.

My family and I enjoyed thanksgiving in this beautiful home. The weather was colder than we had wanted but that didn't stop us. The kids enjoyed basketball outside, cornhole and ping pong downstairs. While the adults enjoyed the upstairs, great food, unexpectedly good football and family. Thank you for the great family memories!!

This property had everything we needed plus more! We really enjoyed the fire pit by the lake. The lake cove was quiet and serene. The house was very clean and the bathrooms and kitchen were stocked with soap, towels, shampoo, pots, pans, and all manner of dishes and utensils. The WiFi was great and the TV’s were all up to date. Our group of 9 loved the vibe!

Great getaway!

Plenty of room for everyone to gather together, well stocked kitchen, the extra fridge was clutch, we hung out on the dock all weekend, quiet little cove for a holiday, lovely screened porch to enjoy the evenings and when it rained... we all agreed we would rent again!

Perfect house for multi generational group. We enjoyed the kayak and paddle boards, swimming ogg the dock. Easy docking for our pontoon boat. Fire pit, pong pong, basketball, cor hole. Great kitchen. Perfect.

Beautiful home on lake cove

This home was perfect for our vacation , with plenty of space for each family unit. We enjoyed card games on the screened porch in the evenings. The house is pristine clean, has a spacious well stocked kitchen, and the beds all comfortable. The firepit is a cozy spot to gather and look out over the lake. We look forward to returning!

Great house on Lake James!

House was great! Lots of room, nice screened in porch room and large kitchen! We brought our boat and docked right at the house! The hosts were incredibly nice and answered right away with any questions that we had! We had to leave a day early because our grandkids came down with fevers and they refunded our last night. Didn’t need to, but they did! Super nice!!

Great for Fishing and kayaking

Access to the water is amazing if you enjoy Kayaking. Can also fish off the boat dock and backyard area. Plenty of room in the house for families. Close access to a boat rental and bait store. House and yard is well kept. Easy access to residence and easy check in procedures!! Really enjoyed this house and would like to come back!!

Fantastic home! Loved the layout, kitchen, bedrooms. We ate breakfast every day on the screened in porch. Walked down to the lake for a float or swim or paddle board. The teens loved jumping off the dock at the house and s’mores at night by the fire pit. Loved fishing off the dock. The beds were really comfortable!

Spacious 5-bedroom lake house that was well furnished. Communications and instructions were straight-forward and easy. Kitchen well stocked with everything needed should you want to dine in. Enjoyed the paddleboards and kayak. Ping pong table was a bonus. Would rent again.

Beautiful home for a family vacation!

Very comfortable home, we had a wonderful stay! Matt & Bhavana were very responsive and helpful. We booked a boat for a few days and it's a great spot for enjoying the lake. The walk to the dock is steep, but WAY easier than many of the other homes we saw. The view is lovely and the property felt very private. We took day trips to the Biltmore and a few hiking spots, and had some meals in Marion and Morganton; while feeling quite remote, it's not too far away from anything you might need! We also cooked a lot, and the kitchen was roomy enough for three of us to cook/prep and the others to sit around the island chatting. Definitely would book again!

Fully equipped does not begin to describe how well this owner has furnished their home for your fun and enjoyment. Fabulous kitchen, comfortable rooms, huge screened in porch, ping pong, cornball, 3 paddleboards/kayak, fire pit/chairs/firewood, dock situated in quiet finger of lake. If they would provide lots of bathroom hooks to hang towels/bathing suits/wet clothes I would deem it perfect.

Great Nature Getaway

The property was a great place for my family (3 young kids and 2 grandparents) to have a quick weekend getaway. We loved the fall colors over the lake and hiking locations close by were phenomenal. We hope to return in the summer because I imagine the lake is even more magical then.

House is updated and spacious enough for 3 families to stay comfortably. Also very well stocked!

There were 3 families in our group and we were all able to spread out and have our own space. The house had every amenity we needed and the view of the lake is beautiful. The owners were great to work with - would definitely rent this home again!
