"This is the third time we've stayed at this charming cabin with our dog. The location is great, a walk to Chimney Rock and a short drive to Asheville. The stone steps would not be good for someone unsure of their footing. The cabin is well laid out so it feels roomy and always spotlessly clean. There are two ample screened porches, front and back, so pup has a lot of room to roam around. Definitely recommend."

The town is also very charming we spent most of the first day visiting the local shops - if you’re going to the area stay here!! Especially if it’s a multi day trip- the courtyard is very easily navigated and so comfy. This did not disappoint"

"We enjoyed the property and found it quite comfortable and cute. The water pressure was not good but we kind of expected that. The biggest issue was the # of mosquitos - even with bug spray on they were relentless so it lessened out time outdoors. We also had difficulty finding Pilot Ridge Rd. The sign is visible from one direction but not the other."

An old or very small dog could struggle. Ours were fine, but no ball-throwing. Our host, Wayne, was very responsive, both with the usual communication (check-in, etc) and for a fix for an unusual big hitch (no water!). He got someone there pronto for a fix. In all, we really enjoyed our stay."
