The internet said that the hotel had 24hr reception but it is only open for limited hours and closed on Tuesdays and Thursdays. "We were four friends, including two sisters, who have travelled together in the past and all of whom love France. We were not disappointed by this wonderful old house - spacious, atmospheric, furnished with beautiful old pieces and yet one of the most well appointed rentals we have ever taken. In addition to the house, the large garden was a delight to explore and the pool was a good size to cool off in or do lengths. "Nous avons passé un bon séjour, dans cette maison d’apparence extérieure et chalet à l’intérieur !!! Nous étions 16 : 8 adultes et 8 enfants de 14 à 5 ans . La pièce de vie est de très bien en terme de taille et d'agencement avec une magnifique vue ... la terrasse est petite mais agréable. Les échanges avec le propriétaire ont été très simples, il nous a permis d’arriver et de repartir à l’heure que nous désirions . Little oasis of calm

"We had a highly enjoyable stay at Jean-Pierre and Basanti's place. They have almost singlehandedly created a little oasis of calm in the hills, right down to planting all the grass, trees, vegetables and plants on the property; as well as building both houses!It was more like being hosted by family than a commercial transaction. As well as being on-hand to make sure we had everything we needed, the hosts were incredibly tolerant and welcoming of our children wanting to run around, explore, and participate in their outdoor work.Other reviewers noted the pool is a short walk from the house. This is a definite plus with small children.We'd definitely stay agin."
