"Property was dirty and unclean. Kitchen wear couldn’t be used, lots of cobwebs and found all sorts of mess from empty alcohol bottles to mushrooms on the floor in various rooms. Bathrooms was dirty and we spent a lot of time complaining and cleaning before we felt comfortable. Was charged £150 for cleaning but not sure why, as the property was clearly not cleaned before we got there. Stayed in apartment 7, which is by a telephone pole so nearly impossible to get our car in and out of the drive...

"Die Unterkunft befindet sich in einer ruhiger Lage, ca. 3 Minuten zu Fuß vom Strand entfernt. Der Garten ist schön gepflegt. Mann kann draußen sitzen und seinen Kaffee genießen wenn es noch nicht so heiß ist. Die Außendusche hat uns auch sehr gefallen. Das ist sehr praktisch mit zwei Kindern. "Amazing stay in the deluxe suite. Me and my family (2 adults and 3 kids 6-12y) had a great time here. The apartment was really good and superclean, had 1 balcony and 1 huge terrace with sea view, and was superclean and fresh. The stay is superclose to the beach, which definitely adds value as it is super easy to go for a swim, and head back for a quick lunch or rest if you don't want to spend the entire day on the sunbed. "The room was great, very cozy and comfortable, with everything we needed for our holiday. The location was really convenient, with grocery stores, restaurants, and metro and bus stations all close by. The only small issues were that the WiFi could be slow at times, and the hot water didn’t last long after turning off the heat button. Overall, it was a great stay, and I’d recommend it! "

"Our stay was very good. The building is very modern with all the amenities you need. This includes laundry facilities, most important underground parking! With parking in Thessaloniki being such a challenge, parking our rental car was truly a blessing. One day we went on bus trip to Meteora, to be able to leave our car in the underground parking facilities was a peace of mind!!"

"Our stay at the villa was great. Everything needed is there (towels, bedding...), kitchen fully equipped (water suspender, dish washer, spices...). The villa and of course especially the pool area are great. There were even some water toys in the pool area.The cellar was a bit older and used, but the remainder of the rooms were clean.The host was amazing and was offering all kind of help and support or special services like ordering taxis, bread... "Fantastic 1st stay at Ikos. Beautiful hotel, fantastic choice of food and drinks at several restaurants. Our favourites were the Beach Club, Ouzo and Anaya. Staff were brilliant, always very helpful and polite. Rooms were great, we had Junior Suite with sea view in Block 1, one of the rooms did have an unpleasant smell, I think from the air conditioning, however we didn’t mention this so we can’t really complain. If I was being really picky I would say the drinks on the beach are served in plastic beakers due to safety I would imagine, and soft drinks never seamed to be fizzy on the beach. The regular beach server Bruno was tremendous and worked so hard, however when he was on day off the service was nowhere near as good or frequent. The only real issue we had was people leaving towels on sunbeds. They would lay them on beds early and then not come to the beach for a few hours. There is a rule that they towels will be removed after 30mins but this doesn’t seem to be enforced. The most frustrating thing was couples securing 4 beds with towels and only using 2, probably to prevent people lying close to them. All in all we had a brilliant stay at Ikos and would love to try another Ikos resort."
