"This is a lovely little apartment. We particularly enjoyed the location - close to the main square/beach/restaurants etc, but also it felt very 'Italian', it is a very pretty and historic part of town. The apartment itself is fine (it had not been cleaned when we got there, but perhaps we had got our timing confused). There were a few minor wear and tear issues (torn shower curtain etc), but overall it is a very functional and well equipped place - we were particularly grateful for the beach...

"The house was as described and was clean and close to the trail. The deck was nice and spacious. It is recommended to agree on communication ahead of time as we had a minor question that was left unanswered through VRBO message; however, they have a restaurant in town so assume we could have gone into town to ask. "This was a gem of a property in a town off of the main foreign tourist circuit, Cavi di Lavagna, but conveniently positioned for trips car or train (+ ferry) to other nearby sites, such as the Cinque Terre, Genova and Portofino. You could also easily transfer to other major centres, such as Florence or Milan, by train from the main station at the next stop over, Sestri Levante.
