Nazare stay August 24

Family of 5 stayed for 5 nights in August. Apartment was in a great location and was very clean. The area was known to us but has become very busy since we were last there. The children loved the evenings in the sqare and the many beach days even though we were on yellow or red flag. Restaurants were incredibly busy.

The initial complication with check-in was due to having only the street name, and not also the building number of the apartment. However, this was offset by the seamless communication with the host who always provided prompt responses to my questions, including providing the building number when we were standing on the wrong section of the street.Overall, the apartment appeared a bit "tired" in terms of decor and lighting. Some amenities we've come to expect from other Vrbo's, such as shampoo, conditioner, shower gel/soap, were not provided. The beds were a bit firmer than we are used to, but linens and towels were appropriate. There was no air conditioning, but with the sliding doors and shutter system it was easy to maintain a comfortable temperature.The foregoing concerns were offset by the location of the apartment, which was a five minute walk downhill toward the beach, lots of restaurants, grocery stores, and other shopping...very convenient! Since we had a rental car, parking was a concern of ours. We were always able to park on the street right in front of the building, the availability of which may have been due to our shoulder season visit. However, the host showed us a locked garage space for our use, so it was comforting to know that was available even though we didn't have the occasion or need to use it.Overall, this apartment was a solid choice. The rate charged was also more economical than most other options in the area.

Die Wohnung war etwas schlecht zu finden, weil die Hausnummer nicht angegeben wurde. Wir waren ganz zufrieden mit dem Aufenthalt. Ansonsten war die Einrichtung der Küche etwas abgewohnt. Es funktionierte aber soweit alles.

A proprietária é bastante acessível e simpática. A casa corresponde ao anúncio. Único reparo a fazer é em relação à cozinha. O exaustor não funcionava e o fogão demasiado lento. De resto tudo ok.
