"Great for if you need to be close to the airport. Easy 15 minutes walk. We used as we had a flight in the morning. Good instructions for entry as we arrived later on in the evening. Room was okay. Can tell the owners have taken care with the design but was not quite to our tastes. Lighting was too dim for our liking. Sure others will love it. Bedside table tops had a bit of dust so cleaniness could be improved. Bed was comfy though. Bathroom was spacious but shower pressure was a bit low and hot...

"We had an amazing stay at Valletta Lucente. We stayed in the Lucia room and it was very well designed and thought out. The area is very busy but we enjoyed that we could walk right out the door to many cafes and restaurants. The owners were also amazing. Our airline had lost our luggage and when it finally arrived and was going to be delivered, the courier needed to meet me with the bags since the hotel isn’t on a drivable street. "The only issue was our confirmation stated room 5 & after numerous tries it would not open the door we called the number provided and our room was actually room 4. The hotel had a breakfast made up for us as we had to leave very early which was thoughtful."

"Pauline and Charlie were certainly super hosts!!! Their property is exceptional in every way - the room was spotless, large, light with a balcony. Comfortable bed and great ensuite with super shower! Coffee pod machine in room was a bonus! Their greeting and breakfast options were huge - our breakfast was the best we’ve had for a long time. "The hotel is an hundreds-years old stone building with modern facilities and fine careness. The breakfast is simple but high quality, breads and pastries are right from local bakers. It is in the middle of of Malta, convient to the go west coast and middle cities by Uber."

"The location of the hotel is in a really cute courtyard with shops and restaurants. It's centrally located so it was easy getting around town. Our room was really pretty, clean and there was a koi pond out the bathroom window. The continental breakfast was wonderful! It was so much food, I had to ask for less the second day. Some reviews we read has issues with the church bells ringing, but wasn't a bother for us. We will definitely stay there again! "

"Lemon Tree is in a quiet part of Malta, which is just what we wanted, but it's easy to get to Three Cities and then the water taxi into Valetta.
