"Hotel is 25 min drive to Amboise. The hotel does have restaurant but very limited seating and for dinner , we found that the restaurants in Amboise were great but you do need a car. Hotel is on a manual accounting system so errors did occur on the bill. Management is unwilling to make any adjustments after you leave property so need to check the invoice closely. "

"There were dozens of bugs in my bedroom. When I brought the issue up to staff their response was that they "thought they took care of the problem this morning" and that they would simply vacuum up the bugs instead of properly cleaning the room or offering me a new one. The issue was not resolved and I told them I could not stay at this hotel if they could not find me a clean room. "Very nice hotel in the near of the center. Great room , very clean, comfortable bed, spacious bathroom ( new ). very warmwelcome by the personnel. Very helpfull. If you stay please stay also for the dinner wich is excellent and not expensive. I would certainly stay there again."

"Hotel is excellent; has off road parking and two large sitting areas, one interior and one exterior. Owners were brilliant and couldn’t do enough for us; very friendly. Excellent accueil de l'employé de la réception (Mr qui venait du nord - désolée de ne pas avoir demandé son prénom), très sympa et serviable, excellentes recommandations de visites en ville. Merci beaucoup à lui. Petit mix up avec le parking qui s'est bien réglé grâce à lui. La chambre était très bien. Le petit déjeuner parfait et copieux. La dame qui s'en occupait était très professionnelle. Félicitations à ces 2 employés ! Merci pour notre séjour ! Une bonne adresse à garder ! "

"Great value stopover hotel. Clean, spacious, friendly, nice restaurant on site, beautiful town within walking distance. Slightly confusing trying to find the entrance (same as the restaurant) and the car park, which was full, however we managed to park on the street (receptionist showed us where) which was actually cheaper!
