The pool and gardens were immaculate and my family room was very clean and comfortable. On arrival the key would not open the door lock. It took 40 slow minutes to have it repaired and then he asked for a tip !! I wish there was a power point near the bed so I could have my phone charging while in use. The pool towels all need replacing and the sun lounges were covered in bird poop. The Sunset tour was fantastic. I felt that we were not given enough time on the full day Soussvlei...

We LOVED Sossusvlei Lodge! It's so close to the gates of Sessriem, so we were able to be the third car in line to drive to see the spectacular Deadvlei in the morning and the Lodge itself is such a gem in the desert! We loved our room - the bathroom is huge and the bed is very comfortable. We really enjoyed the gorgeous food in the beautiful outdoor setting in the evening, too - creating your own stir fry at night and scrambled eggs in the morning is a real treat out in the middle of Namibia!

The property was absolutely beautiful, well run and staff were great, the rooms are stunning. My issue wasn’t with the property but with the map on Expedia, it implies the property is very near the entrance to the park and the dot was not in the right place, it was a very long and dust road! So we were a little disappointed on the way there but we were happy when we eventually got there. If I’d known where it was when I booked this wouldn’t have bothered us

The owner Henry went out of his way to make me comfortable and gladly prepared meals suitable for my diet, with each day something new, delicious, and affordable. He even worked around my schedule for meals, which included early mornings, and recommended local activities for me. I really couldn't recommend Tismaree high enough, because I was able to see the nearby Naukluft national park and drive to Sossusvlei for a day visit quite...
