"The whole house was completely stocked with everything we needed for our stay. We stayed Monday through Saturday and couldn’t believe how welcoming and safe it felt. My best friend and I had a girls trip and it was our first time in the UP and my first experience with a bnb so I wasn’t sure what to expect. It was a perfect base for all of our adventures and we crammed a lot of them in our time there. Very quiet neighborhood. Pet friendly/safe. You will see deer in the yard "

"The property has been updated nicely. The bedrooms are not small cramped rooms. All the rooms have plenty of space. It is located in walking distance to all of the shops on St Ignace."

"Property was great for two families (4 adults, 3 kids). Plenty of space for everyone for both lounging and sleeping. Kitchen had everything we needed for meals. Good amount of privacy but close to the gas station. Grocery store and other stores within 15 minutes. Everyone enjoyed the pontoon boat rides and spending the evenings around the fire pit. Beautiful wooded view with the lake in the background. "

"This was a great family vacation spot. We loved the privacy and the beach view! It was too cold to swim the week we were there, but we enjoyed the sunsets and walks along the shoreline. The cottage is clean and comfortable. The internet was great, very fast and reliable. I highly recommend the Octagon Beach House."
