"The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. You do pay additional for breakfast. A day pass for the pool area is $75 if you have any friends or family who want to visit. The main concern is not enough elevators. We were in the 6th floor and had to take the stairs to avoid waiting in line for an elevator."

"Someone came into our room in the middle of the night and turned on the lights. When I called the front desk to inquire on why that occurred they said that my room was marked unoccupied and they were doing room checks. Never an apology, she tried to say that they didn’t open the door because of the latch however the latch was not on, my mistake, and the door fully opened and they were able to turn on the lights so they lied. No apology was given and at checkout we were never asked about our stay. Also, a loud and what sounded like a dangerous altercation happened in front of our door shortly after the door opened and the staff never came up or officers were never called. I didn’t sleep at all that night because I felt unsafe and needed to be alert to protect my daughter. The check-in was also strange and the person who checked me in did not know what he was doing clearly as he left our room in an unoccupied status."

"I find it funny that you are asking me to review my stay at your hotel when you canceled my reservation without letting me know. I was four hours away from home and had no place to stay and I had children with me. You claimed my card was declined but what really I think happened was you oversold your rooms. Everything was sold out in the area except for one hotel, which I was able to get a very nice room with the same credit card that you said was declined. Turns out my card was just fine! Your hotel is a complete dump and from the moment I walked in the door it reeked of incense. The rooms were very dirty and the beds were very uncomfortable. I only know this because my husband and mother-in-law had to check in the night before and spent one night there. They were very disappointed and disgusted with this place. I would not recommend you to anybody."

"Staff were friendly. The location was great, especially for the price. Location was literally right off the interstate and made getting to/from Kansas City and Lawrence easy. Room mostly clean, but smelled of smoke despite being non-smoking room. Also had debris/dirt on the floor. Amenities were overall good, but internet quality was not great--my phone and laptop regularly disconnected regardless of where in the room I was. Also very noisy through most hours of the night--people screaming or being loud outside/next door. I realize that's not the fault of the hotel, but definitely influenced my overall experience here. I would consider staying here again if I was by myself; however, this isn't a hotel I would recommend to others or would stay at if traveling with family."
